In a class full of deep guards, Hill has proven herself among the best as a game changer on defense. She was a havoc causer during Booker T Washington's Class 5A State Semifinals run. Has quick feet and quick hands, which makes her a magnet for steals and deflections. Her endless motor often has her hounding defenders all over the court. While also making her an up tempo player in transition. Where she does a good job of balancing between scoring herself and making the unselfish correct passes to her teammates

While being a defensive dog is her calling card, she's not half bad on offense either. Is a powderkeg of player when it comes to attacking the rim. Her quick first steps goes well with her strength, allowing her to finish like a taller player. And has enough of a three point shot that she must be respected from deep. With outstanding energy and not being afraid of the moment or top competition, Hill has a very bright future ahead of her.

An all action wing, Miller is gritty around the basket with tough finishes, rebounding and good shot blocking instincts. Always seems to be looking to find an edge on defense, playing the passing lanes and hustling. The urgency she's played with this spring indicates that she's making up for lost time after recovering from a knee injury The momentum gained now should see her continue to skyrocket this winter.

A shifty guard off the bounce, Brakefield also brings it on the defensive end. Her energy and supernatural sense to cause deflections allows her to impact the game beyond the box score. Gets good hang time on drives to the rim, allowing her to absorb contact and still finish. With next level athleticism, there's potential for the Millerette to be a breakout player this winter for a 6A darkhorse.

The Lady Pirates of Locust Grove has become regulars at the 4A State Tournament and Hooker played a pivotal part in last year's semifinal run. Now with the graduation of her sister Claire Hoooker (headed to OBU), the younger sister will be relied upon even more for a team with legitimate State Title aspirations. Hooker is a long armed guard, who is active on the defensive end. And can knock down triples as well. Expect her to play a key "3 and D" role for Locust Grove.

Shanklin has looked like a promising prospect this spring. She plays bigger than her height and is an athletically gifted and mobile forward. Finishes with power in the post, only needs one dribble to rip from the free throw line and get to the rim. Even has some moments in transition where she's able to take it herself. Light on her feet when it comes to vertical jumping but can still be a bit reckless with fouls. But the love the hustle she does show when it comes time to get on the floor for a loose ball. There's still a rawness to her game, but the physical tools are there to make her appealing to college coaches.
