Shanklin has looked like a promising prospect this spring. She plays bigger than her height and is an athletically gifted and mobile forward. Finishes with power in the post, only needs one dribble to rip from the free throw line and get to the rim. Even has some moments in transition where she’s able to take it herself. Light on her feet when it comes to vertical jumping but can still be a bit reckless with fouls. But the love the hustle she does show when it comes time to get on the floor for a loose ball. There’s still a rawness to her game, but the physical tools are there to make her appealing to college coaches.
