JSE Team Camp- Top Standout Performers

The JSE Team Camp turned West Monroe into the center of Louisiana girls basketball, bringing together elite high school teams, major college programs and some of the state's most talented recruits for three action-packed days of competition.   The West Monroe Sports & Events Center was loaded with talent. College coaches lined the courts, evaluators moved from game to game and prospects from across Louisiana competed with something to prove. With more than 90 teams and over 180 games played under one roof, every possession provided another opportunity for a player to raise her stock and make a lasting impression.   This was much more than an ordinary summer team camp. It was a major recruiting platform where athletes were able to compete alongside their high school teammates while being evaluated by college coaches from multiple levels. The atmosphere was electric, the competition was physical and the intensity stayed high from the opening tip until the final games.   Several of Louisiana's most highly regarded recruits entered the building with established reputations, and many of them showed exactly why their names continue to generate attention. They played with confidence, controlled the tempo, scored at multiple levels and consistently made winning plays on both ends of the floor.   However, the JSE Team Camp was not only about the well-known names. A number of emerging prospects and under-the-radar players took advantage of the moment. Young guards displayed their speed, court vision and shot-making ability. Versatile wings attacked the basket, defended multiple positions and impacted the game with their athleticism. Frontcourt prospects competed inside, controlled the glass and showed the physical tools needed to play at the next level.   The standout performers separated themselves through more than scoring. They communicated, defended, rebounded, made the extra pass and competed with tremendous energy. In an environment filled with college coaches and top recruits, the players who consistently made winning decisions were the ones who truly caught attention.   The event also demonstrated the continued growth of girls basketball throughout Louisiana. The state is producing skilled guards, athletic wings, powerful post players and young prospects who are already playing beyond their years. From established seniors to rising underclassmen, the amount of talent inside the building was impossible to ignore.   West Monroe provided the stage, and Louisiana's prospects delivered the show.   The JSE Team Camp was filled with big performances, competitive matchups and recruiting buzz. Some players strengthened their standing, others introduced themselves to a much larger audience, and several prospects left West Monroe with their stock clearly moving upward.   With college coaches watching and many of the state's top recruits competing in the same building, the JSE Team Camp proved to be one of the most important girls basketball events of the summer. The elite 2027 post prospect put together a dominant all-around performance that showed exactly why she is considered the No. 1 player in Louisiana. At 6'4”, Bradley brought an overwhelming combination of size, length, power and skill, but what made her performance special was the way she controlled the entire floor.   Bradley was far more than a traditional post player. She ran the floor hard, handled herself comfortably in transition and stretched the defense by stepping outside and confidently knocking down three-point shots. Her ability to score from deep forced defenders away from the basket and created major matchup problems all over the court.   When she moved inside, it was a completely different level of domination.   Bradley established deep position, finished through contact and controlled the paint with strength and physicality. She attacked the offensive glass, created second-chance opportunities and consistently gave her team a dependable scoring option around the rim. Once she caught the ball in scoring position, the defense had very few answers.   Her impact on defense was just as impressive. Bradley protected the rim, altered shots, controlled the boards and made opponents think twice before challenging her inside. After securing rebounds, she showed the ability to quickly outlet the ball and help ignite transition opportunities.   With college coaches and some of the region's top recruits in the building, Bradley made sure everyone understood why she sits at the top of Louisiana's 2027 class. She displayed college-ready size, legitimate perimeter range, interior dominance and the versatility to impact every part of the game.   The future LSU Tiger did not simply have a strong showing—she made a statement. Her performance in West Monroe was another reminder that the No. 1 spot in Louisiana belongs to her, and the next chapter of her journey in purple and gold has the potential to be special.     [player_tooltip player_id='1307741' first='Laila' last='Rousell'] made a major statement at the JSE Team Camp in West Monroe and showed exactly why she is ranked as the No. 1 player in Louisiana's 2029 class. The 6'3” forward competed with confidence, physicality and zero fear, even when matched against [player_tooltip player_id='943308' first='Caroline' last='Bradley'], the No. 1-ranked player in Louisiana's 2027 class.   Rousell did not back down from the challenge. She held her own against an older, highly regarded post prospect and competed possession after possession with toughness and poise. That matchup demanded respect and proved that Rousell is already capable of competing against elite players several years ahead of her class.   Offensively, she displayed her scoring ability from multiple areas of the floor. Rousell was powerful around the basket, finished through contact and used her size to establish position inside. She also showed the versatility to step away from the paint, attack from the perimeter and create matchup problems with her length and athleticism.   Defensively, Rousell was a beast. She protected the rim, blocked shots, controlled the glass and played with a strong physical presence. Her ability to rebound in traffic and challenge attempts around the basket made her a force inside the paint. She also showed that her defensive impact extends beyond the lane, using her mobility to guard multiple positions and cover space on the floor.   What stood out most was her competitive mentality. Rousell embraced the challenge of facing one of the top players in the building and never looked overwhelmed. She played with confidence, aggression and the belief that she belonged in every matchup. She has the size, skill, defensive presence and scoring ability to become a dominant two-way prospect. [player_tooltip player_id='947756' first='Kayla' last='Harding'] brought a steady, composed presence to the JSE Team Camp in West Monroe and showed why she is one of the more complete guards in Louisiana's 2028 class. Rather than forcing the action, Harding played with patience, read the floor well and consistently made decisions that helped her team stay organized and competitive.   Offensively, she showed the ability to score in different ways. Harding attacked open lanes, finished with strength and stepped into perimeter shots when defenders gave her space. She also handled pressure well, kept her dribble under control and used her vision to find teammates in scoring position. Her pace stood out because she knew when to push the ball and when to slow the game down.   Harding's impact was just as strong on the defensive end. She applied pressure to opposing ball handlers, stayed active in passing lanes and communicated with teammates throughout possessions. Her physical frame and competitive mindset allowed her to defend multiple guard positions while still contributing on the boards.   What made her performance stand out was her balance. She did not rely on one skill or one scoring burst. Harding affected the game through defense, rebounding, passing, shot-making and leadership. She played like a guard who understands how to control momentum and make winning plays.   At the JSE Team Camp, [player_tooltip player_id='947756' first='Kayla' last='Harding'] showed maturity, toughness and confidence. Her all-around performance made it clear that she is a rising prospect who can impact both ends of the floor and continue climbing in Louisiana's 2028 rankings.     [player_tooltip player_id='947771' first='Aubrey' last='Young'] came into the JSE Camp in West Monroe ready to make noise—and from the jump, she did exactly that.   Young came out scorching hot, attacking the game with confidence and helping her team build an early lead with her scoring, energy, and relentless motor. She played fast, aggressive, and completely locked in, setting the tone before the defense had a chance to settle.   In transition, Young was a problem. She pushed the ball with purpose, ran the floor hard, and turned defensive stops into instant offense. Her ability to play with pace and pressure the defense made her one of the most impactful players on the court.   On the defensive end, she was just as dangerous. Young brought lockdown pressure, jumped passing lanes, and came up with key steals that shifted momentum. Her toughness, activity, and willingness to compete on every possession gave her team a major edge.   What made her performance stand out was how quickly she took control of the game. She scored, defended, created opportunities, and brought nonstop intensity from start to finish. Young did not wait for the game to come to her—she attacked it.   At the JSE Camp, [player_tooltip player_id='947771' first='Aubrey' last='Young'] showed that she is more than just a strong prospect. She battled for position, finished around the rim and showed that she is not afraid to play through contact. Her strength and footwork made her difficult to contain in the paint, while her activity on the glass created extra opportunities for her team.   What separates Dupree is that she is not limited to being an interior player. She stepped outside and knocked down three-point shots, showed touch in the mid-range and gave defenders problems with her ability to score at all three levels. Her combination of size and shooting forces opponents to defend her anywhere on the court.   Defensively, Dupree was equally impressive. She has the strength to guard inside, the mobility to defend on the perimeter and the awareness to switch across multiple positions. Her versatility allows her to impact different matchups and gives her team a major advantage on that end of the floor.   At the JSE Camp, Dupree looked like a complete basketball player. She scored inside, stretched the floor, defended multiple positions and competed with confidence. She has the physical tools, skill set and two-way ability that translate to the college level.
