Out of upstate New York in the Adirondack Region comes [player_tooltip player_id='1867277' first='Addison' last='McKnight'] from Madrid-Waddington. It seems that players in the north region don't get the recognition that the players near NYC do, but McKnight is certainly worth the effort to recruit. McKnight was a NYSSWA 10th team Class C all-star for the 2025-2026 season, and her stock should be on the rise. She is a productive scorer at all three levels. McKnight can use her strength to post up smaller guards and score inside. She can pull up and connect on shots or step outside and nail 3-pointers with range several feet behind the arc. She can defend guards or post players. McKnight is a tireless rebounder who often records a double-double.

Bianaca Creales put up some impressive numbers this winter for Montfort Academy. She is an all-around athlete as she also competes in volleyball and softball. Creales averaged 11.7 points per game with a pair of 26-point efforts. She is an elite defender. Creales has quick feet and hands that she uses to hound ballhandlers. She uses her anticipation skills to know when to jump into the passing lane to create steals. Creales is a solid ballhandler and finishes with authority in transition. She has a smooth shooting touch and can knock down shots from multiple positions on the floor, inside and out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1867214' first='Rebekah' last='Moore'] is the 18th-ranked combo guard in New York and deservedly so. Moore has elite talent and is dynamic to watch. She is an electric ballhandler with the ability to change speeds on a dime and shred defenders. Moore can score at all three levels. She can knock down shots from long range, blow by defenders to explode to the cup with either hand, or pull up off the bounce and hit midrange jumpers. She also has a strong fade-away and floater game. She has outstanding court vision and basketball IQ, which helps make the players around her better. Moore is one of the rising young guns in New York. Her name will become more prominent over the next two seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1867242' first='Bre' last='Butler'] filled up the stat sheet this season for Maine-Endwell, but perhaps what was most impressive about her was her leadership skills, being named a team captain, even though she is only a sophomore. Butler is a strong, physical guard. She can score in a variety of ways. Her high game of the season was 34 points. Butler is a very good outside shooter with deep range. She can beat defenders off the bounce and muscle her way to the basket. Butler runs the floor well and is a consistent finisher in transition. She can defend multiple positions. Because of her physicality, she is often utilized to guard bigger players in the post.

[player_tooltip player_id='1867243' first='Bridget' last='Grosser'] of Seaford High School was named a NYSSWA all-star this year. She was selected to the 10th team. Only a sophomore, expect Grosser to rise up the charts over the next two seasons. Grosser is an outstanding outside shooter. She has deep shooting range from behind the 3-point arc. She is an outstanding defensive player. Grosser seems to anticipate what offensive players will do and is always in the right position to make the steal. She runs the point for her team and is an excellent distributor of the rock.
