Last week, before the scholastic live period, I attended a three-day camp, put on by Travis Diener, that included around 70 talented incoming freshmen from Wisconsin. I spent most of the three days learning about some of the 2030s before they get to high school in the fall, and taking notes on most of the players there. I didn't end up getting notes on every player, but we will look at some of the players who stood out from the three-day event in Mequon and what they bring to the floor.

The Milwaukee native was impressive with the ball in her hands. Le Flore had a quiet confidence in her game and changed directions with the ball well. She is a skilled lead guard who could be one of the more productive guards in the City Conference. I also noticed she was more reserved than most of the kids there, but was more comfortable with the kids around her once 5v5 stuff picked up. I liked her approach to the game and how well she kick-started her group's offense.

The future Dominican Knight will be a player her teammates love playing with. Lee has a big personality and is comfortable being herself, even around people she may not have met before. I also loved how hard she competed and how she took every drill rep at game speed. I loved her energy from the second she set foot in camp to the end.

The future Edgewood Crusader was a kid who showed well at camp. Milesko took directions and corrections well and applied them. She is also a solid athlete who can move her feet well defensively and keep her assignment in front of her, which will get her on the floor early for the Crusaders more than what she can do on the other end. She plays at her own pace offensively and has a solid frame; she can add muscle over the next four years as she matures.

There were a handful of groups that you could hear before you saw them, and Alexander's group was one of them, because of her. She brings an energy to the gym that every coach wants, and you could tell the kids around her took a liking to her quickly. As a player, she was athletic and used her physical tools to impact the game defensively and pressure the ball at the point of attack.
