Class of 2028: Stock Risers

The Class of 2028 rankings have been updated, and we'll have the Class of 2029 update tomorrow. We have looked at the players in the top ten and what they bring to the floor, along with some things they've done to this point. Tonight, we will look at some players who have helped themselves the most over the last few months, and some new names in the 2028 rankings.    The Appleton native is a player who can slot next to ball-dominant players and help elevate her team's lineup. Schuh can space the floor and knock down shots. However, her ability to be a physical presence, crash the glass, and help her team earn extra possessions is valuable. She may not be a player who scores 20 points consistently, but her ability to make winning plays on both ends of the floor will make it a challenge to keep her off the floor.     The Neenah native has been among the most impressive players in 16u 3SSB this spring. She shot the leather off the ball in her first Adidas stop in Bryan, Texas, this last April and was the main source of offense for her team. The lefty is a solid athlete who can slide her feet defensively, and competes at a high level on both ends of the floor. She has been one of the more impressive players I've seen playing her age level at 16u this season, and she's continuing to impress as we approach the end of the year.     The 2026 grassroots season is my fifth trip around the Midwest and beyond following the progress of players from our state, and the improvement Thompson has shown since the start of the year may be the most drastic I've seen. Thompson has put together an excellent few months playing for [program_tooltip program_id='713127' first='Wisconsin' last='Legends'], and she's bought into doing what makes her an eye-catching prospect. She's physical, skilled, and she's playing with as much confidence as I've ever seen from her.     The Wisconsin Dells wing has been one of the most improved players over the past year, and helped her Chiefs program reach the D3 State Title Game this past March. Alwin is a dynamic wing who can get to her spots and score off the dribble from all three levels. There's a lot to like about what she brings to the floor, and she's only scratching the surface of what she can do.
