Frye, Forwards On The Rise

These forwards have been making an impact with strong play and continue to trend in the right direction. Jaylin is at her best attacking the basket and putting pressure on the defense. She does a great job drawing contact and getting to the free throw line, and she's a strong finisher once she gets there. She also has a tight handle for a forward and can stop on a dime in the mid-range for her jumper. When she gets a smaller defender, she's comfortable backing them down in the post. Lissy has a smooth offensive game and never looks rushed with the ball in her hands. She can knock down the mid-range pull-up and is a confident three-point shooter who isn't bothered by late contests. She stays patient, plays at her own pace, and consistently makes smart decisions throughout the game. Naima attacks the basket with purpose and gets downhill in a hurry. She has a quick release from three that doesn't give defenders much time to recover, and her size helps her see over the defense to make good passes. She keeps the offense moving while still being a scoring threat. Aubrey is a strong presence on the block and finishes well with moves like jab steps and drop steps. She embraces contact around the rim and has the strength to finish through defenders. She also crashes the offensive glass hard, creating second-chance points and plenty of and-one opportunities. Kensley plays with a lot of strength around the basket and does a good job staying balanced by playing off two feet. She finishes with a soft touch, rebounds at a high level, and doesn't force shots when help comes. Instead, she's willing to kick the ball out and create open looks for her teammates.
