Hoop Group Championship: EJ's Evals

Let's dive into my notebook and check out Saturday's evals from the summer's final live period in Manheim, PA.    Her speed sparked a surge vs Select Prospects. She refused to get beat in transition; took contact at the rim and stayed persistent in her rim attacks for the and-1/FT trips. Aggressive basketball helped keep it competitive down to the buzzer.     Post feed conversions at a rapid pace. Strong hands to control the entry pass, soft touch for the bucket. She gave the Scholars a sizeable advantage inside vs the Lynx.     Energetic and active on both sides of the ball. She did a good job remaining committed defensively around the perimeter. Lurking 3-point threat who made herself available for the shot, especially at the wings.     Bothersome length; arms up, hands in your face on defense to pressure the ball and force the handler to make rushed decisions. She did a great job imposing her will and forcing turnovers vs NJ Rise.     Matti played a huge part in the Hawks' thrilling win over the Lady Hoopmasters of Maryland. She showed lots of potential as a primary scoring option. Comfortable range on the straightaway 3 ball.     Isabella gave the Hawks a physical advantage in the post vs the Lady Hoopmasters. She took the hits in the post and kept on rolling. She never once complained to the refs or shied away from the physicality. Instead, she battled through contact on the glass and locked in.     Applied disruptive perimeter pressure vs Syracuse Nets. She pressed up tight and kept active hands to speed up the ball-handler's actions and thought process.     She took advantage of open lanes and carved out clear paths to the basket for easy 2's. Lots of energy offensively, cutting & curling; constant movement, never in one spot for too long. She did a great job moving the ball around the perimeter.     Playing against one of the best teams in the event, [program_tooltip program_id='714726' first='Positive' last='Direction'], Emma showed off range on long 2's and 3's to keep points on the board. She took advantage of certain matchups with her length and quickness.     Confident 3-point & mid-range jumper. Impressive on the attack with her ability to push pace but also decelerate for the stop & pop.     Tough bucket-getter on [second chance] put-backs and dribble penetration. She played with a lot of focus and didn't let the hits in the paint bother her too much.
