Hoopers who could fly up the 2027 rankings

The updated 2027 rankings will be released tomorrow! With that in mind, here are five players I believe could see a massive increase in their ranking in the next 24 hours.    [player_tooltip player_id='1251711' first='Heaven' last='Brown'] broke out this past season for the Malvern Lady Leopards, and to me, there is no way she should still be ranked #293 in her class.   Brown put together some nice performances this past year, which earned her an all-conference selection. One of her better outings was in January against ESTEM, where she put up 24 points in a big-time win. Frankly, this is not at all surprising.   Brown has proven that she can put up buckets in a hurry. As a guard, she can absolutely knock down triples when you give her enough space, but she is tough to stop when she has her head down and is attacking the basket, generating contact.   [player_tooltip player_id='1251711' first='Heaven' last='Brown'] has already started attracting colleges, with Fort Scott CC and Paris JC extending her offers this summer. A big senior year is in store for Malvern's star.     [player_tooltip player_id='1807466' first='Kaliyah' last='Evans'] is one of the most versatile forwards in the 2027 class, and her updated ranking might show that.   Evans had a solid 2025/26 campaign, but so far this summer, there is plenty of evidence as to why I believe she will fly up the rankings tomorrow.   The rising senior has been highly impactful on both sides of the ball. She can attack the basket and finish up and over any defender. Evans can also pull up for a floater or step back and take a jumpshot. And then at the other end of the floor, she is swatting shots, snagging rebounds, and leading the fastbreak.   [player_tooltip player_id='1807466' first='Kaliyah' last='Evans'] picked up an offer from Southwestern Illinois this past offseason, and I think that is just the first of many offers she will see.     [player_tooltip player_id='1245002' first='Paislee' last='Davis'] was a crucial member of a Quitman Lady Bulldog squad that won the 2A state championship. Now, Quitman reclassified up, and Davis has started attracting the attention of college scouts.   Davis had a great junior season, earning all-state and cooking in the state championship, logging 18 points, 8 boards, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. She also went 10/10 from the charity stripe and hit both of her 3-pointers.   Davis can do a bit of everything on the court. She is a solid outside shooter, especially off the catch, but she also knows how to draw contact and find ways into the paint. Outside of scoring, no one is keeping Davis off the boards, nor are they scoring on her, as she is one of the better defensive forwards in this class.   [player_tooltip player_id='1245002' first='Paislee' last='Davis'] picked up an offer from DIII Hendrix College in May, and if she has another great impact this coming year as she did in 2025/26, Hendrix will have to fight plenty of other schools to get her.     I've talked about [player_tooltip player_id='1093242' first='Morgan' last='Jones'] before, as she is in the Arkansas basketball record books for her 3-point shooting, which I believe is enough to have her rise in the rankings, including some more collegiate attention.   Jones is a fantastic outside shooter. Whether off the catch or the dribble, Jones can knock down big shot after big shot, even with a hand right in her face. She has an extremely quick shooting release, and defenders will never be lucky if they can provide a bothersome closeout against her.   Jones is, of course, more than a shooter, as she has shown that she can drive hard to the basket and finish through contact. She also provides value on the defensive end, and could mold into a solid 3&D guard at the college level.   [player_tooltip player_id='1093242' first='Morgan' last='Jones'] is a critical part of a Greenland team that could break brackets this coming year, and she has already picked up an offer from Hendrix.     Here is a hot take that is not that hot: [player_tooltip player_id='882749' first='Mya' last='Brady'] will be leading the Vilonia Lady Eagles in scoring in 2026/27.   Brady is one of the 5A's best 3-point shooters. Once she gets her shot lined up, it is truly automatic, as each one of those shots is straight through the nets. Her great offensive play was on display during her junior year, as well as during her offseason with the [program_tooltip program_id='712392' first='Banshees' last=''].   The sharpshooter turned a lot of heads at the Border War Tournament, but her squad just wrapped up the Rise Session 2 in Louisville, Kentucky, and Brady went off. In just 6 games, she nailed 25 3-pointers, which is just over 4 a game.   [player_tooltip player_id='882749' first='Mya' last='Brady']'s shooting is a major part of her game, and it has helped her attract some collegiate attention. She just picked up an offer today from Pratt CC, and I can't help but think that was as a result of her play in Louisville. She also has offers from North Arkansas and Hendrix to consider.
