Making Their Mark: Top Performers at Sparkle City Slam

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops hosted their Sparkle City Slam this weekend where teams from across the southeast came to compete.  There were many standouts from this event, but only a select few were nominated as top performers.  Here are some ones that I saw over the weekend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block some great height and strength that she uses in the paint to grab rebounds, and she has some nice power dribbles to get into position to score her points.  She was tough making baskets through contact even earning some old fashioned three point play opportunities.  She even took the ball coast to coast after grabbing the rebound showing her quick ball handling and ability to push the tempo.</p> her range knocking down her shot from deep off the pass.  She didn't back down from her opponents at all even hustling and diving on the floor tying the ball up to gain the possession.  She seemed to moving on the court to get the open look, and she handled the ball well waiting for plays to develop.  She was a tough defender on the other end keeping her opponents in front of her and protecting the drive.  She even handled things on the block protecting the basket using her strength.  She made strong cuts scoring off the pass.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- range with her shot consistently getting lost by her opponents to knock down the open shot from around the arc.  She sees the floor well knowing when to make her pass as a play develops and hitting
