New Names of 2027s at the Run 4 Roses Classic

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at some New Names of Class of 2027 players who caught our attention at the Run 4 Roses Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":1881769,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3527.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1881769" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1851366' first='Ali' last='Skinner'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 17U Finley): A 5'4" scoring point guard from Fulton who was an impressive bucket-getter. It was our first time seeing her play in person and we saw how she was a 24-point a game scorer for her high school team. She has serious shooting range from 3-point territory and she can create her own shot off the dribble. She also plays well without the ball as she sprints to the open spots and she comes off screens and is shot-ready. It was our first time seeing her play and she made quite a positive impression. A couple of small college coaches even asked about her after seeing her play. She had good moves and footwork inside and she finished well around the basket. She also made her free throws, which is important for a post player who plays through contact. She had a good slight of hand move on the drive where she faked a hand off and kept the ball and scored on a layup. It was pretty smooth. She is blessed with good height and she is also a good athlete who is very fluid when she runs the court. She was getting downhill on the drive and she also has a nice turnaround jumper in the lane. She is also an unselfish player who was making the extra pass to the open teammate. She is good at catching the ball at the wing and backing down off the dribble into a post up opportunity. She also attacks the basket off the drive effectively to finish in the lane or draw a foul. One thing we noticed is that she looks to block out somebody every time the shot was taken. It may seem like a small thing, but it really isn't and we notice things like that. She also grabbed a rebound and went coast to coast for a bucket and she was darting into the passing lanes for steals.
