This wave of talent is a perfect blend of old school and modern game. What stood out most while covering these prospects is their ability to process information, make adjustments, and keep adding dimensions to their game. These are the new faces of New York — players who can transcend a program. She has range on her jump shot with good mechanics and a good jump to the ball, giving her a natural scoring touch. She crashes the boards and facilitates for teammates. She makes everyone better on the floor. She's raw offensively but has real scoring ability and can get to the basket, with touch when she operates in the post and mid-range. The perimeter shot is the clear area to develop for next season. Displays good rebounding instincts with sound box-out technique and a knack for slashing to the basket. She flashed real scoring punch as a freshman and already shows touch on both the inside and outside parts of her game. Offensively, her vision, quickness, and shooting are her calling cards as she pushes the pace and looks to get out in transition. She has great shooting mechanics with range from the perimeter and plays tenacious defense in 1v1, consistently looking to turn defense into offense. Fearless and shifty in attacking the basket, she also shows great court vision, setting up teammates, and rebounds well for a guard, always looking to push the pace. Expect a big jump this season.
