Unranked 2027s in the Border Region: Part 2

The Border Region is full of talented players, and several are in the Prep Girls Hoops Rankings. However, this summer I have seen several players play who are not currently ranked but could be soon. Here is a look at another group of Class of 2027 l prospects I have watched this summer who could be next to earn a spot in the rankings.    [player_tooltip player_id='1881247' first='Charlotte' last='Dawson'] is a player who, in my opinion, has flown under the radar a bit, but shouldn't be. Dawson is an extremely talented player who does everything well. Dawson is a very good shooter, both from the mid-range and behind the 3-point arc. Her greatest strength is her ability to get to the hoop and score off the dribble. Dawson is especially solid when it comes to scoring in traffic on drives and putbacks. Her height, combined with her guard-like ball-handling skills, makes Dawson a matchup nightmare for defenders. Her length makes her a strong rebounder and defender.     [player_tooltip player_id='1881248' first='Abby' last='Tellstone'] is a sharp-shooter from Saratoga High School who plays her AAU hoops for the Cap City Scrappers. Tellstone is a lethal 3-point shooter. Her range is impressive as she often knocks down shots from several feet behind the arc. Being left-handed makes her even more difficult to defend. Tellstone is a phenomenal defender who can lock down an opponent. She is extremely quick with superior footwork. She is a very good ballhandler with solid court vision. Tellstone runs the floor well and is a consistent finisher in transition. Tellstone is for sure a player on the rise.     [player_tooltip player_id='1862020' first='Lily' last='Griesbach'] is sitting just out of the Top 100 in the rankings on our Watch List, but in my opinion, she should be in the upper echelon. Griesbach played a key role in Bethlehem's run to a sectional title and spot in the state championships. Griesbach is an explosive offensive player. She is an outstanding 3-point shooter. Her range is unlimited. Griesbach can connect from any spot beyond the arc, but is especially effective from the wing area. Griesbach is a very good ballhandler and passer. She can slice through defences to score in the paint. Griesbach is also a solid defender who anticipates when to jump into the passing lane to nab steals.     [player_tooltip player_id='1881529' first='Annabel' last='Conway'] is an up-and-coming standout for a powerhouse Albany Academy team. Conway is an athletic point guard with a high upside. The strength of her game is the ability to get to the basket. Being left-handed already makes Conway a challenge to defend, but her aggression attacking the rim makes her even more dangerous. She has worked to improve her perimeter shooting skills and has become a threat from behind the arc. Conway is also a high-motor player and is an outstanding defender.     [player_tooltip player_id='1814876' first='Emma' last='Larson'] is a player on the rise for Burnt Hill-Ballston Lake. I have not seen Larson play a lot, but I am intrigued by what I have seen. Larson is a versatile offensive weapon who can score inside and out. She has a very smooth shooting touch from the mid-range and deeper perimeter. Larson can take smaller defenders down to the block, where she has excellent post moves and footwork. She runs the floor well and is a strong finisher in transition. Larson is also a tireless defender. She has outstanding lateral movement and is a very good shot blocker. I am looking forward to seeing Larson play more in the future. She is definitely a player who is now on my watch list.
