Who Are Some Under the Radar Guards We Watched This Summer

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at some talented Under the Radar guards that we got an opportunity to watch during the last couple of months of the summer activity.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3475.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1885968" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1277543' first='Jade' last='Tucker'] (Park Hill): A 5'6" 2028 point guard from the Kansas City area who plays for the KC Dream 16U squad. She is very quick and she is also very shifty with the ability to change speeds and directions. She is a very willing and skilled passer who threads the needle in tight spaces and also who looks upcourt to find the early offense. She runs the pick and roll very well as she can get down hill on the drive or knock down the perimeter jumper in addition to making the right pass.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_2911.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1885971" /></figure>   Kinley Luna (Dora): A 5'4" 2027 point guard who is a talented small school player in the SWMO area. She carries a lot of her plate as she is her team's primary ball handler and playmaker while also being the top scoring option. She handles all of the responsibility well. She has good quickness and she can get a bucket from all three levels. She can shoot it comfortably from 3-point range and she is a creative shot-maker with excellent handles.     [player_tooltip player_id='1303507' first='Halle' last='Endicott'] (Carthage): A 5'9" 2028 guard who plays up a year with the [program_tooltip program_id='713014' first='MO' last='Legacy'] 17U squad. She is a good athlete who plays with a high basketball IQ. She is really good at reading defenses and timing her cuts well. which leads to easy layups. She is a versatile talent who can handle the ball and facilitate offense or go inside and rebound.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3396.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1885981" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1279220' first='Chloe' last='Rowe'] (Potosi): A 5'6" 2028 guard who played for the [program_tooltip program_id='948123' first='TC' last='Hoops'] 16U this summer. She is a high energy player who was going at full speed every moment we watched her play. She is a slashing threat who was putting constant pressure on the defense with her driving. She was also excellent in the open court with the ball in her hands. When the game slows down, she can also pass it well and shoot it from 3-point range.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3484.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1885973" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='649667' first='Chayse' last='Uhlmeyer'] (Canton): A 5'8" 2027 guard who spent the summer playing with the 25 Eight Mentality 17U squad. She can really score as shown by the 20 points a game that she averaged during her junior season at Canton. She can get her points in a variety of ways as she can drive it, shoot it from 3-point range and also create off the dribble. She also plays well without the ball with her cutting ability.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3526.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1885974" /></figure>   Macy Jeffries (Green City): A 5'4" 2027 point guard who has been a standout at the Class 1 level for the past three seasons with more than 1,500 career points. She plays for the [program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 17U (Finley) squad this summer. She is a very smooth offensive player who plays at her own speed in an old-school manner. She is shifty and has a nice stop-and-go game that keeps defenders off balance and guessing. She can get into the lane and score with strength while also being able to knock down perimeter jumpers.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3590.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1885982" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1308669' first='Julia' last='Pfau'] (Seckman): A 6'0" 2027 guard who played for Phee Elite Wilkenson 17Us during the summer. She has excellent height for her position and she uses it to see over the defense well for pinpoint passing. She can shoot it from 3-point range and she also covers a lot of space with her long stride on the drive. She also reads defenses well and is a good cutter in the lane.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/07/IMG_3589.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1885977" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='885914' first='Makenna' last='Kirby'] (Doniphan): A 5'6" 2027 guard from the SEMO area who plays for the MO Nets 17U team with many of her high school teammates. The southpaw point guard was one of the best that we watched at simply attacking the paint and drawing the contact. She lived at the free throw line in the game we watched her. She is tough like that. She is a good finisher in the paint as she maneuvered well in traffic to get her shots.
