Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of Friday's standout performers from the second day of action at tha Run 4 Roses Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.

[player_tooltip player_id='848994' first='Millison' last='Sapp'] (TL3 17U): On a team full of standout guard from the SWMO area, the 5'6 2027 bucket getter from Ash Grove was really getting busy in the Ihf that we watched her play. When she wasn't scoring off the team's good ball movement, she was able to create offense on penetrating drives on the lane and escape moves which led to perimeter jumpers swishing through the net. Drury U. is getting one excellent player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1113094' first='Rozlyn' last='McDevitt'] (RDC 16U): The 5'5 2028 point guard from St Joe Central had her playmaking skills in full display when we watched during the afternoon. She does such a good job of distributing the ball early and making sure everyone else gets fed. She dropped some very smooth dimes on the break and in a a half court set. When it's time to score, she was getting it done at all three levels. The 3-pointer was working along with multiple slicing drives into the lane.

[player_tooltip player_id='1039489' first='Maddie' last='Perry'] (Phee Elite Olufson 16U): Stating with the theme of getting buckets, this was what the 5'6 2028 guard from Incarnate Word Academy was doing during the afternoon session. She really knows how to create her own offense with smooth handles and the ability to set her defenders before hitting them with a crossover or a spin move in the lane. She also works well without the ball to hit perimeter jumpers. When the shot clock is winding down, she will make sure the team gets a good shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='849017' first='Carsyn' last='Hagood'] (MO Nets): A 5'9 2027 guard from Doniphan, who was being tightly which shows the respect she has as an offensive threat. She is a tough cover because whenever she broke loose she could hit the 3-pointer with her feathery shooting touch. She can also put the ball on the floor and back down a defender into a post up where she would either score or get fouled.

Keira Melandy ([program_tooltip program_id='948123' first='TC' last='Hoops'] 14U): The 5'8 2030 guard from Woodland was one of the many talented incoming freshmen that we watched on Friday. She has good positional size and athleticism along with the ability to score in a variety of of ways. We were impressed with her ability to read and cut off the ball for easy layups. She also sliced through the defense to score on the drive and her 3-point shot was pure. She also had one play where she soared above a group of girls to grab an offensive rebound to score on the putback.

[player_tooltip player_id='892646' first='Kayla' last='Kalmer'] (Phee Elite Wilkenson 17U): A 2027 guard from O'Fallon who really impressed us with her ability to play offensive basketball. First, she can really shoot it from distance and with a quick release on her shot. What was impressive was how she played without the ball. She would screen to get herself open, relocate to the open spots and make herself generally hard to find. She can also handle it as she went coast to coast for a layup.

Braylnn Porter ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 14U): A 5'8 2030 guard from California who is an impressive incoming freshman in the Mid Missouri area. She was very good in the early morning game. She was shooting it well against the zone defense. She then attacked the close out and hit a one-legged runner along the baseline. That really got our attention. She is also an unselfish player who was making the extra pass.
