Someone out of their Freshman group coming in this Fall, that could be a solid piece to their puzzle over time is Brynn Larkins. Larkins is an EYBL players and a solid competitor at the Guard position. This AAU season on the road she put up respectable numbers, holding her own and making a difference whenever she could off of the basketball. She is used to playing against some of the top teams across the Country. That will help her when she see's the Varsity floor and she is lining up across from some of her opponents out of the DSM area.

Paisley Longmeyer is probably a name that you haven't heard too much about yet. Longmeyer is listed as a 5'9 SF but she brings some Guard-like abilities to the floor from the outside. This Guard-like ability is the type that will make her a CG at the Varsity level within the Underwood program throughout the next four years. Her length, sneaky athleticism, and how she plays the game is much more experienced, like an upperclassmen but don't get it twisted - she still has a long way to go in this game but if she continues at this same pace moving forward, she is going to be a name we hear SEVERAL times moving forward throughout her high school career.

Everyone should keep an eye out for Ballard High School throughout the next couple of years. They continue to return a seasoned cast of prospects and they keep adding to that cast with promising talent at the underclassmen level each and every season it seems. Last year 2029 - Kaitlyn Dunn stepped up and showed out as a promising talent, who is going to be able to continue to help this group success into the future with her shooting ability on the offensive side and with her tenacious man-2-man defensive ability on that side of the ball. Dunn was mainly a threat from behind the arc last Winter, taking about 80% of her shots from off the catch from deep. She did shoot some other stuff but her main weapon was the three ball. This year we should see a deeper skill bag on offense out of Dunn. Where she can put the rock on the ground now and get to other favorable spots. If she can start to do that more and she continues to work on everything else in her off-time, she could have a bright future in this game somewhere down the line.

11. 4. 3. These are the numbers Lauren Harder averaged last Winter as a Freshman at Tri-Center High School. 11 PPG, 4 RPG, 3 APG. These numbers were respectable but as a whole it was a season of learning for the group as they went 5-16 overall. This Winter they will return refreshed and ready to ride. Harder, the naturally talented PG, knows what to expect out of her competition moving into her Sophomore season and that's going to help her play even better overall. I think situationally Harder brings so much attention to herself that she consistently is dealing with double and triple teams or at least that was the case towards the end of last season. I expect that it's going to be the case once again moving forward but with time comes age and experience. Harder has had more experience over the last six months on the road and she will use that to help her thrive in tough moments.

We have actually mentioned HH a few times the last couple of months because of her play on the JR. EYBL Circuit on the road. Health is going to be someone that can step up and into any role from the SG/CG position at AC this Winter. She has good size at 5'9/5'10, she possesses natural skill off of the ball, she doesn't need the ball in her hands to produce in a short amount of time, she is really good in her movement when things become cluttered around her, and she has a calm demeanor in big moments. AC will return a few other's that can HOOP this season so we will see how everyone mashes together when the time finally comes. If they click properly, they might be able to win some big contests over the next twelve months.

The group below are names that you might not be too familiar with yet but they each put together respectable numbers over their last few years of competition and they are looking to do the same once again with their Varsity programs this Winter at the High School level.
