The Class of 2029 had several Virginia prospects show noticeable growth this summer. She also attacked available space, including a strong baseline drive through multiple defenders that resulted in an and-one finish.

Dalton brought energy and athleticism to the floor, competing every possession and hustling on the glass. Sanders controlled the pace as a primary facilitator, staying patient with the ball and maintaining her dribble under pressure as she read the floor to find teammates or create her own scoring opportunity. She brought that same poise defensively, getting into an athletic stance, applying physical ball pressure, and turning steals into transition finishes on the other end. She attacked the basket to draw fouls, shielded the ball well against contact, and complemented her playmaking with the ability to knock down threes.
