It shows you how versatile they are and how much a coach trusts them to have the ball in their hands. These girls are more than likely the number 1 scoring option for their club. They know how to fill it up and put on a show. Back in the day, this position was probably filled with kids who can spot up along the arc and just launch 3s at a consistent clip. Over the years, this position has transitioned, and you see more athleticism when it comes to this spot.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The SG position is pivotal. You've got a girl who can handle the ball, get open, create, plus more; you have a gem on your hands. She is down to a few power 4 schools. The big thing about her is her defense. She wants to draw the tough assignment and neutralize her opponent. She proved that multiple times throughout the tournament last season. It will be interesting to see where she lands next season. This young lady is a difference maker, and she does so in a multitude of ways. She's a go-getter. She's going to give her all every time she steps onto the floor. She is a selfless ballplayer who will do anything asked of her. She can spot up along the arc or create by putting the ball on the floor. She has a great feel for the game, and when she is attacking, she knows how to finish at the rim or distribute the rock to an outlet teammate. Her defense is an underrated attribute, and she is willing and able to guard the best player. She's committed to Harding University, and they are getting a steal of an athlete. A kid who can fill it up from anywhere on the floor and turn around and contribute in multiple statistical categories on the defensive end. Plays with a motor. I love her intensity and edge she brings. She is a no-nonsense kind of kid who competes her tail off. Look for her to get after it this final run.
