Passion Driven Showcase: 2029 Top Performers

Use the discount code Carolinas26PGH25OFF for 25% off registration!</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Even though the 2026 travel season has come to a close and the tip-off of high school ball is still a few months away, keeping one's skills as sharp as possible is vital for any basketball player.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>That is the purpose of showcase events such as the previous weekend's Passion Driven Showcase. The Pearl Moore Basketball Center once again provided as the host site for the one-day get-together that saw many of the Palmetto State's best and brightest display their skills. Other states such as North Carolina and Maryland were also represented.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We at Prep Girls Hoops also made the drive to the Pee Dee for Sunday's festivities. She displayed that on Sunday in Florence. Gardner-Webb, Elon, Virginia Tech, Appalachian State, UNC-Charlotte, Winthrop, UNC-Wilmington and North Carolina A&amp;T are among the schools that have the standout from 8A Mallard Creek on their respective radars. Offensively, she is a consistent threat to point points on the board. Defensively, she makes plays via her rebounding and shot-blocking abilities. Having a 6-foot-1 height advantage playing at the three helps as well. She averaged 7.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game as part of a 7A North Meck team that won state last season. The Field Force standout is one opposing teams have to game plan for when she has the ball behind the 3-point line as she is very accurate from distance. She first played at the varsity level as an eighth grader and has also displayed plenty of positive development on the defensive end of the floor. Whenever Conyers is on the floor, she is a double-double possibility on a game-by-game basis. Conyers played on a very young Monarchs team last season – she was one of six from the class of 2029 on last season's Manning assembling. She is also extremely difficult to score on considering how gifted a shot blocker she is. Championship-contending teams like the Gators typically need formidable frontcourt forces and Davis can certainly provide that at Goose Creek. Davis recently finished a 2026 AAU season where she ran with Overlooked Skills Academy. One can notice how formidable of a rebounder she is and how stout a defender she is. She played in 25 of River Bluff's 26 contests last season while averaging 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.3 steals and two assists per contest. The speed she can possess when attacking the basket can throw many defenders for a loop and can give her opportunities to complete old-fashioned 3-point plays. She can also be accurate from behind the 3-point line and understands when the right times are to score and to pass.
