We had several outstanding performances during the showcase. Worsley was a menace on the court defensively. She hounded opponents and forced turnovers left and right. Offensively, Worsley was active, directing traffic and forcing the defense to adjust to her style. She attacked the rim, looking to create contact and get to the free-throw line. Sanders repeatedly demonstrated that she could create offense from her defense and had no fear of taking long-range jump shots. Her defensive intensity was evident as she played a physical style, forcing her opponents to stay off-balance. Wisne hustles for every loose ball and attacks the basket with courage, drawing fouls through sheer determination. She plays with a high motor and is always around the ball, battling for rebounds and loose balls. Hurtado does a great job of anticipating passes and deflecting them, creating instant offense from those turnovers. Sometimes these little details get lost in pick-up scrimmages, but this scout noticed them. She was able to finish through contact and convert those opportunities into buckets. Her deceptive quickness kept her in front of opponents on defense, allowing her to force turnovers. DiAnnie is a smart player and made correct reads and plays on offense.
