Underclassmen Impress at Cornerstone Elite Camp

Several underclassmen took advantage of the opportunity to compete at the Cornerstone Elite Camp on Friday afternoon, gaining valuable experience while showcasing their games in front of the coaching staff. The camp featured skill development sessions, shooting competitions, a question-and-answer session with the Cornerstone staff and players, 1-on-1 competition, and live 5-on-5 action, giving attendees multiple opportunities to display their abilities in different settings. By attending an elite camp early in their high school careers, these players are taking important steps in their development while testing themselves against strong competition. From skilled guards to versatile forwards, a number of underclassmen turned in notable performances and showed they have bright futures ahead.    Irelynn, an incoming freshman, was one of the standout underclassmen at the Cornerstone Elite Camp, showcasing a well-rounded game and consistent effort throughout the afternoon. She stood out during the ball-handling skill work, displaying confidence and control with the basketball. In the live 5-on-5 sessions, Irelynn made an impact on both ends of the floor, using active hands to create defensive disruptions while also knocking down multiple shots from beyond the arc. She sprinted the floor for easy transition baskets and showcased her ability to attack off the dribble with a strong drive and finish at the rim. Her performance showed she is already making the most of opportunities to compete against high-level talent as she prepares for her freshman season.       Brynnley made quite an impression in my first opportunity to watch her play at the Cornerstone Elite Camp. During the 5-on-5 sessions, she consistently showcased outstanding court vision and high-level passing ability, delivering a perfectly timed pass to a cutter and another excellent advance pass in transition that led to an easy scoring opportunity. She also proved she could score when needed, knocking down a mid-range jumper, connecting from beyond the arc, and finishing a drive with a smooth Euro step. Defensively, Brynnley competed with intensity, turning a steal into a coast-to-coast basket. Her feel for the game, decision-making, and ability to impact the action in multiple ways made her one of the more impressive underclassmen in attendance.       Lauren was one of the youngest players competing at the Cornerstone Elite Camp and held her own against older competition throughout the afternoon. She showed confidence attacking the basket, finishing a strong drive through the lane, and also demonstrated her shooting ability by knocking down a corner three-pointer. Competing in an elite camp setting at such a young age provided valuable experience, and Lauren showed she is willing to challenge herself against high-level talent early in her development.       Sara was also among the youngest players at the Cornerstone Elite Camp and competed well against older athletes throughout the afternoon. During the 5-on-5 sessions, she consistently made smart cuts without the ball, putting herself in good scoring positions. She also showed strong hands by catching passes in traffic and finishing around the basket. Competing in this type of environment at an early stage of her high school career should serve as valuable experience as she continues to develop.     Olivia put together a strong afternoon at the Cornerstone Elite Camp, showcasing her shooting ability and feel for the game. She caught fire during the shooting skill work, consistently knocking down shots from the perimeter with confidence. In the live 5-on-5 sessions, Olivia displayed good court vision by attacking the defense before delivering a well-timed pass to a post player for an easy scoring opportunity. She also pushed the pace after securing a defensive rebound, showing her ability to transition quickly from defense to offense. Her combination of shooting, decision-making, and pace made for a productive performance throughout the camp.
