Gasseling brings a toughness to the interior that shows up possession after possession. She's willing to engage physically around the basket and does much of her best work before the ball ever reaches her. She finds bodies, establishes leverage, and puts herself in advantageous spots to pursue misses.   That strength also makes her a dependable target when things get crowded. Gasseling can handle passes that aren't delivered perfectly, secure the basketball through contact, and keep possessions from falling apart. Offensively, she isn't limited to finishes directly around the rim either. There is enough touch in her game to comfortably operate from short and intermediate areas. She's the type of interior player who can quietly turn loose balls and difficult possessions into productive ones.     One of Jackson's best qualities is that she rarely seems predetermined in what she's going to do. She allows possessions to develop, reads what is available and then finds a way to fit herself into the action.   That feel is particularly noticeable without the basketball. Jackson understands how to use teammates and movement to shake herself free, slipping through openings and working off screens rather than remaining stationary. When she does attack, she maintains that same level of control. Instead of flying into the lane and committing herself to one option, she can gather, establish balance, and read what's happening around her. That gives her opportunities to finish, move the ball, or reset when nothing is there.     Buck plays the guard position with an understanding of how to create advantages without always needing to beat someone cleanly off the dribble. She's constantly searching for subtle ways to move defenders where she wants them, whether that's with her eyes, a fake or a slight change in tempo.   That becomes especially valuable when she's creating for others. Buck sees opportunities to get the ball inside and understands that the placement and timing of an entry pass can be just as important as recognizing it in the first place. She gives teammates a chance to catch in spots where they can immediately make something happen.   When defenders begin anticipating the pass, Buck has enough offensive skill to punish them herself. She can knock down shots from the perimeter and use deception around the basket to manufacture finishing angles. Rather than trying to force openings, she has a knack for creating them one small advantage at a time.     Burke can make the paint feel considerably smaller for an opposing offense. Her length gives her an obvious defensive tool, but much of her effectiveness comes from knowing how to use it.   She takes away space, gets into the path of would-be drivers and can challenge attempts without surrendering easy opportunities on the glass. Finishing those possessions is another area where Burke provides considerable value. She tracks the ball well off the rim and gives her team a strong presence when it's time to secure the rebound.   Some of Burke's best defensive possessions may end without her ever recording anything individually. A driver changes course because she's waiting near the rim. A passing window disappears because she extends into the lane. A shooter has to put additional arc on an attempt because of her reach. Those aren't always plays that jump off a stat sheet, but they're exactly the types of small disruptions that can gradually tilt a game.
