Deep Dive: Intelligent Players Looking To Lead Their Programs

This is one of those hoopers that has a lot of promise right now. She is still really raw in her abilities but she is getting better with time/experience as she seems to get older. When you combined her size with her balance down the court and soft touch on the ball - you start to see what she could turn into in the future. It's going to take some guidance but this is someone who WILL produce this Winter in the middle for Nevada High School. They took care of the games they should have won for the most part and that was because of their production from their Upperclassmen. Someone from that group, that will look to make some more noise this Winter as a Senior is [player_tooltip player_id='896436' first='Peyton' last='Weber'] at the Forward/Center position. Weber would be described as their big-game player in the middle of the court for this team. She nearly averaged a Double-Double last Winter while not really taking a three point attempt from deep. I think she had 1 or 2 but that would be it out of her 250+ offensive attempts. Everyone else who made big plays last Winter for Jesup has graduated moving into this season so there will be a lot of chances for opportunities for others to step up. Dvorak will be her team's highest returning PPG player from a year ago. She only scored around 5 PPG so she will need to take a step up but she won't be alone in her efforts. She is coming in with a talented Junior Class for their conference. Osgood came onto the Iowa High School GBB scene last Winter when she transferred in from Minnesota. She played almost right away once she got settled in and she helped lead her team to a State Appearance in the end, which was a big accomplishment for their group as a whole. This season Osgood will have the keys to car. The 6'0 Forward was someone that her team could rely on last season in some big ways. This season she will be looked upon to be their leader in the middle that everyone looks up too. (Literally) Bauer will compete out of the middle primarily. She can spread the floor and she is willing to shoot the three from deep, which is impressive for her size and it keeps defenses honest - meaning they can sag off of her or else she might see one or two go in the hoop before you know it. We will be in attendance for a few of Danville's contests this season. If they take care of business like they know how - it's going to be really interesting to see where they land come Playoff time.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
