Dreamchasers Fall League Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fall leagues are underway throughout Hampton Roads, giving teams valuable opportunities to prepare for the upcoming season. Recently, I attended the Dreamchasers Saturday Event, which featured 10 teams from across the region. Players competed for extra work, meaningful repetitions, and opportunities to sharpen their skills. Throughout the event, several players showed noticeable growth, while multiple teams displayed plenty of promise. However, a select group delivered performances that stood above the rest. Additionally, she understands when and where to move without the ball. Carter also uses strong positioning and sound technique to control the glass. Meanwhile, her tight offensive package makes her a handful on the block. A multi-sport athlete, she competes in basketball, soccer, field hockey, and swimming. Consequently, Redel has entered the discussion among the region's best 2028 point guards. She comfortably directs the offense, creates opportunities for teammates, and scores when needed. Despite being undersized, she attacks the rim and possesses the strength to finish through contact. However, toughness remains the defining trait of her game. Lipscomb is a hard-nosed defender and fearless scorer who embraces important moments. She willingly dives for loose balls, draws charges, and battles inside the paint. Ultimately, Morton goes wherever needed to help her team succeed. Offensively, her athleticism allows her to reach desired spots with the ball. Additionally, Morton displays impressive court vision and instincts when creating opportunities for teammates.
