After watching the freshmen give me one of the best 3 on 3 performances as a group since PGH implemented this into the system, I was geeked, pumped, and amped at seeing players not only compete but THINK THE GAME, so I'm dropping Tip Sheets on teams 1 and 2, maybe one more 3 on 3 segment, then jumping into the sophomore evals, so here ya go

Keene impressed my colleague Nicole Douglas in the 3-on-3, yet the numerous Tip Sheets I've dropped on her over the past couple of years have set the stage; see evaluations here. I enjoyed seeing her elevate her game. Her "on-the-ball" pressure has gotten better; so has her court vision, and seeing her ability to "thread the needle" in traffic was nice. She's finishing stronger off the dribble, and her "catch and shoot" with a hand in her face looked good

Fisk gave @playerrimedies a great look last season see evaluation here. My initial sighting showed me how poised she was with the ball under pressure, and her ability to make decisions was a big plus. Her court vision across the board looked good; she scored off the dribble, and her defense was solid. This included her picking some pockets for steals, and she also came away with a few by playing the passing lane

Johnson was one of the middle school players who attended the event see evaluation here, and I'm gonna be real with you: not just because I'm a REAL EVALUATOR, but because her upside is kind of scary because of her DESIRE, as well as skillset and seeing her go at the older players and not back down looked good, so did her going coast to coast to score

Mason was caught by both Marissa and Nicole during the event in the 3 on 3 competition see evaluations here but let me go back to 2022, when I first saw her see evaluation here so watching her mid to long-range continue to get better was nice, as well as her court vision. She's on the verge of joining that "making those around her better" group because she 's heady, stays under control, and is vocal, but her "on the ball" pressure also needs to be mentioned

Lozano gave Nicole a good look in the 3 on 3 competition and spoke about her defense and court vison, and at last season's Dynasty Classic, I enjoyed how she patiently set the defender up to attack and score see evaluations here. This time around, her ballhandling and court vision under pressure have gotten better, so has her ability to knock it down from outside while being defended

Allison showed out during the 3 on 3 but showing up and out in front of me has been "what she does" on the double-digit tip sheets she has made from me before playing her first high school game see evaluations here. Scoring inside and outside, hands, and footwork looked even better; this is what she's able to do, and watching her elevate over defenders to score and rebound will keep getting better. She's also creating contact off the dribble, falling into that "and one" waiting to happen club, her "catch and shoot" looked good, so did her #THROWBACK stuff: diving on the floor for loose balls and following her shot but she's also "long and athletic" and versatile enough to defend inside and outside the paint

Villegas is another #THROWBACK player because her "thinking the game" and understanding positioning to out-rebound taller players both stood out during the 3 on 3 see evaluation here Well it was much of the same as she rebounded and handled the ball afterward, saw the floor in transition, as well as in the set, well, even off the dribble to pass or score. She never let up on defense; "on the ball" pressure was solid
