Freshman Showcase Team No. 1 Evals

She is a smooth offensive player who was getting buckets at all three levels. She creates off the dribble well and she also used the jab step to set up her defenders. She was knocking down 3-pointers off the catch and off the step-back. She was getting into the lane and scoring at a variety of angles. She will be an immediate factor for the Lancers as a freshman this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1880659' first='Bralynn' last='Porter'] (California): A 5'9" shooting guard from Mid-Missouri who displayed her excellent shot-making from 3-point range. She has a smooth shooting stroke and she can hit shots off the catch and off the dribble as well. She is also a versatile offensive player as she plays well off the ball. She is an excellent cutter and she also reads defenses and comes off screens to get her points, which makes her tough to guard.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1922745' first='Emma' last='Coleman'] (Monroe City): A 5'3" point guard who plays the game with a pass-first mentality. She is a dependable ball handler who was distributing the basketball effectively. We liked how she was feeding the post inside to the post players. The ball did not stick in her hands. She was also doing some nice ball hawking on the defensive end to get steals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1243470' first='Paige' last='Nesbitt'] (St. James): A 5'5" point guard who is a high energy performer who plays the game with a lot of pace. She's quick and she also displayed some good court vision to find open teammates. She also could shoot the 3-pointer off the high ball screen. She scored on an impressive reverse layup off a good off the ball cut.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1850179' first='Madalynn' last='Janes'] (Lutheran South): A 5'10" forward who plays with a high motor to go along with her versatile skill set, which creates matchup problems for defenders. She was going into the post and getting some good seals for inside buckets. She is also very comfortable on the perimeter as she was attacking off the dribble. She scored on a nice spin move in the lane and she also drained open 3-pointers. She loves to attack from the perimeter and seek contact from opposing defenders. She also seals well for good position to score in the low post. She also stepped out and knocked down open 3-pointers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1881995' first='Jessica' last='Jackson'] (Rock Bridge): A 5'6" point guard from Mid-Missouri who showed that she can distribute the ball with the pass and score with equal effectiveness. The young lefty did a nice job of pushing the ball upcourt and finding open teammates. She did a good job of moving without the ball and getting herself open.
