Freshman Showcase Team No. 3 Evals

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the members of Team 3 from Sunday's Freshman Showcase at the Beal Center in Chesterfield.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gabby Bowman (East Carter): A 5'8" guard from the SEMO area who was one of the most impressive players that we watched during the event. She used her strength to be a physical force around the basket. If she wasn't posting up and getting buckets, she was also grabbing offensive rebounds and getting putbacks. She was also catching the ball on the perimeter and scoring on tough power drives to the basket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1891711' first='Lily' last='Bierk'] (Lutheran South): A 5'2" point guard who did a nice job of getting in the paint on dribble penetration. Despite being one of the smallest players on the court, she was fearless and effective when she got into the lane. She was able to score over some much taller defenders. She also dropped some nice dimes on the break which led to buckets.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1822990' first='Ryleigh' last='Richardson'] (Perryville): A 5'4" guard who played much taller than her actual height. She was very effective playing inside with her toughness and positioning. She was battling inside to grab rebounds and she could also seal defenders and score in the low post. She can also step out and hit the Corner 3-pointer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1851831' first='Sammie' last='Chisholm'] (St. Joseph's): A 5'8" guard who is a high energy player who is aggressive with the ability to score. She could set up her defenders well and blow by them off the dribble. She has a nice cross-over move to get herself into the lane. She was also a good ball hawk on the defensive end with her quick hands.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1851736' first='Gianna' last='Schepis'] (St. Joseph's): A 5'7" guard who is a good athlete who plays with good pace. She did a good job of looking up court for the quick pass to start the break. She was also hitting the trail 3-pointer in the transition game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1318134' first='Reese' last='Haemker'] (St. Dominic): A 5'8" guard who had the versatility to performer as a playmaker and facilitator and also be a scoring threat. She was very good at slashing in the lane and scoring in traffic on the drive. She had a nice Euro-step move when she got into the paint with excellent footwork.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='931504' first='Kristen' last='Pinegar'] (Greenwood Lab): A 5'10" forward from the SWMO area who is a very solid player all-around. She screens well and she is a very capable scorer around the basket. She's strong and she plays at her own speed.
