October Events Have Me Amped

After catching the PGH Freshman Showcase, one big takeaway as a whole was how much the players had improved in the 3-on-3 and how many new faces from both that event as well as the PGH Sophomore ID Camp, not to mention the "on the court" progression I always look for from players I have evaluated in the past

This weekend, I make that long trip, heading up 45 North to catch the Jeremiah Green Invitational, and this will give me a chance to see teams I may not see this season, like private schools John Paul II, Southwest Christian, and Prestonwood, as well as public schools, Lake Dallas, Denton Guyer, Glen Rose, and Hebron

I did catch some of the players from a few of the schools who either went off or left lasting first impressions. Yet going off is also what I'm expecting from not only this weekend, but next weekend as well, as I get to catch up with several players who had solid club seasons, including [player_tooltip player_id='889018' first='Nylah' last='Crudup'], [player_tooltip player_id='925205' first='Jewels' last='Johnson'], and [player_tooltip player_id='874351' first='Carinne' last='Bouie'], as well as a healthy Meagan Lausser and [player_tooltip player_id='985914' first='Amanda' last='Rossini']

I was able to catch the Seifert sisters, Evelia and Sabria, multiple times, along with Toni Ademuwagen, even though she was blowing by me as well as defenders on the court. There is still time to sign up for the Expo; the cutoff date is October 8th. Please use my code, SIMMIE26PGH25OFF, for a discount, and you can register by clicking on this link

Also note that I will start updating the rankings all month, and please remember: if I don't see you, what can I say?
