2027 Rankings Update: Breaking Down Nos. 46-50

As we continue through the latest 2027 rankings update, spots 46 through 50 feature a group of players who have the ability to make a big impact for their teams this season. Whether it's their scoring ability, versatility on both ends of the floor or returning from injury, each of these players brings something different to the table. With their final high school season approaching, I'm interested to see how these five continue to build on their games and help put their teams in positions to win.

Riley is a newcomer to the rankings but her addition to the list is long overdue with the offensive game she bring. She is a scorer who can get things going from all levels of the floor and make defenses work to slow her down. Her combination of size and skill also allows her to take advantage of mismatches and create scoring opportunities in different situations.

Alcaraz is one of the best shooters we have in the state and it doesn't matter the distance or the gym because all she needs is enough space to get her shot off. She has already made plenty of history and broken records over the past season with her ability to knock down shots from deep. Going into her final year, she will be looking to win and do whatever it takes to help her team get there.

Taylor is an underrated skilled post player who brings more to the floor than just her scoring around the basket. She can step out and knock down the three, has good touch around the rim and finishes in different ways. What also stands out is her willingness to come out and play the right way making her someone who can fit into different situations and help her team.

I'm expecting big things from Angel this season as she returns from an injury that forced her to miss last year. She looks strong and ready to get back on the floor where her presence will be needed defensively to limit scoring for opposing guards. Offensively, her athleticism and approach allow her to get downhill and make things happen around the rim.

Zoe continues to impress each time she steps on the floor with her game growing as she becomes more aggressive offensively. She is starting to look for her scoring more often and has the ability to make things happen with the ball in her hands. With her length and athleticism, defense seems to come naturally as she is capable of guarding multiple positions and making an impact on that end of the floor.
