2027 Rankings Update: Newest Risers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With the 2027 Rankings being updated after the showcase season has been completed, here are some of the newest risers from the update.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#5 - [player_tooltip player_id='688515' first='Azariah' last='Jackson'] - Bonney Lake HS</strong></em> - Azy was one of the nations biggest rising players after her dominant spring season. She unfortunately suffered a knee injury and could potentially miss the entire upcoming season. She is a three level scorer who has handled the ball extremely well for years as she can be the point guard for her team if needed. She adjusts her game on the fly and still plays at a high level wherever she is. She rebounds the ball well as she always fights for loose balls and stays physical down low. She just recently made her college decision too, taking her talents to Indiana. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#56 - [player_tooltip player_id='895545' first='Lexi' last='Hermanutz'] - Lynden HS</em></strong> - Lexi is a new addition to the rankings and she enters the list at number 56, with more room to rise with the season coming up. She has only lost one game in her high school career as she goes for her 4th straight state title. She uses her size well in the paint, getting rebounds and finishing over defenders smoothly. Lexi can knock down shots from deep with ease too, always staying ready but thriving when putting the ball on the ground and attacking down-hill.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#59 - [player_tooltip player_id='689456' first='Cameron' last='Watson'] - Skyview HS</strong></em> - Cameron was very impressive during the Expo this past month, being a versatile playee who scored smoothly and fought hard every possession. Watson was all over the place on the defensive end, guarding multiple positions and flying around to cause havoc. Offensively she can score from all 3 levels, having nice strength and footwork down in the paint to get open looks. Her jump shot is smooth too, having a nice release and confidence to shoot from anywhere. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#64 - [player_tooltip player_id='1259636' first='Graycie' last='Kast'] - Royal HS </strong></em>- Graycie recently made her commitment to Alaska-Anchorage and they secured a really dynamic player for their program. Kast plays at full speed every possession, being able to get nice transition buckets when leaking out and defending at a high level. Her defensive skills are really showcased when she shows she can defend multiple positions with ease. She scores nicely too, being able to get buckets from all 3 levels and display an elite jump-shot. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='751205' first='Carli' last='Kiesau'] - Squalicum HS</strong></em> - Carli is a player that a lot of people might not know due to being injured last season. She is fully recovered now and seems to have really taken rehab seriously as she might be quicker than ever now. She is a high level defender who moves her feet fast to stay in front of opposing players and make them work for buckets, always going 100%. Offensively she is a dynamic threat who can impact the game in many ways. She works from the perimeter nicely, attacking gaps and being able to hit jumpers smoothly. Squalicum was one game out of making the state tournament for the first time in girls program history without Kiesau last season, adding her should put them over that hump. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
