16 Prospects Make Initial 2030 Watch List
The anticipated 2030 class watch list has been released, completing the most recent round of class rankings updates. Prospects from the far west to the Kansas City region to up and down central Kansas made the list. Composed of 16 talents, clearly the list is far from exhaustive. But those included are expected to be varsity level impact players. When the initial rankings list drops following the December portion of the 2027 season wraps up many, many more players are guaranteed to debut.
Gathering information on incoming freshman is generally more difficult than the older classes. Not as much is available, even if all that can be found is on streaming media or on highlight sites like HUDL. Especially important are reports on players being seen at significant summer events, team camps and individual events and the ready existence of basic information. Many are included due to recommendations from coaches, parents, other players and especially scouts. Other Prep Girls Hoops (PGH) scouts have seen players I have not and several have appeared in scouting reports from outside of PGH. Again, the list is not exhaustive. Some players were not included due to the lack of data as simple as height, high school attending, and position. It is a taste of talent to watch at a variety of KSHSAA levels from around Kansas.
