Piurkowski, a 5-11 Brookfield East senior and a 2026 1st Team All-Conference selection, starts her senior season has a player to watch in the Milwaukee area. She enters her final season as just one of seven players to go over the 1,000 career point threshold in Brookfield East history. Solid on both ends of the floor, Piurkowski put up 11.9 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 3.8 apg, 1.5 spg, and 1.0 bpg in leading the Spartans to a 21-7 record and within 1 game of a state tournament bid.

Fierst is another incoming Great Metro Conference senior that I see having a great senior season. Coming off of a 2nd team All-Conference junior season, the 5-6 Hamilton product averaged 12.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 2.6 apg, and just under a steal per game while shooting 35% from distance. I like her relentless, controlled style of play and think that her Chargers will be competitive in the hunt for a conference title this season.

You cannot make a list of top Milwaukee area players and not have the 5-8 [player_tooltip player_id='1231936' first='Collins' last=''] on the list. The career 24 point per game scorer starts her fourth, and final, varsity season with a remarkable 1,560 points with 2,000 in her sights by late February. [player_tooltip player_id='1231936' first='Collins' last=''] will be key in helping the Wildcats rebound from an 11-13 2026 in which she averaged 26.2 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 6.5 steals per game.

Counsell had a terrific junior season in leading Whitefish Bay to a Division 2 State Championship and starts her senior season with 1,551 points after averaging 21.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 3.5 apg, and 3.9 spg while shooting 51% from the floor, 38% from 3 and over 80% at the line. Counsell brings good leadership, poise and consistency and will have the Blue Dukes in the hunt again this winter.

Rigual, a 5-7 senior, for Cudahy is a bit of a lesser known senior to keep an eye on in the Milwaukee area. Had a terrific junior season where she helped the Packers improve from 5 wins her sophomore season to 13 averaging 16.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 3.8 apg, and 5.2 spg. She starts her senior season with a great shot at the 1,000 point threshold.
