I attended the Hardwood Hoops Fall league on Saturday October 24th. Below are some of the standouts from the matchups I had the opportunity to watch.

Strong defender and great communicator. Gets position with her strength in the post. Plays well off two feet. Was very effective on the boards in this matchup out matching her opponents. Uses her lengthy wingspan to block and contest shots. Dominant post defender who can get out and effectively guard the perimeter. Doesn't lack confidence and impacts the game at a high level on both sides of the ball.

Solid defender with great on ball pressure. Very quick on her feet on the fastbreak and will beat everyone for the scoring opportunity. Did a great job finding her teammates including some great passes through traffic that were right on target. Hustles and plays with purpose. Can score effectively through contact in the paint or with her perimeter shot. Difficult to defend with her speed and skilled handle.

Watching Bergs development has been impressive to watch. She's elevating herself as one of the top 2028 guard prospects in Southern AZ. She has a very good handle and footwork she uses when attacking the lane to get the score. Knows how to score over taller opponents very well and plays through the contact. Great passing ability and cuts hard and quickly giving her teammates an option. Impressive court vision. Is an impressive defender along with being one of the top offensive playmakers in the gym on Saturday.

Strong shot blocker who controlled the paint. Aggressive defender who applies relentless pressure on her opponents. Great awareness and is terrific in help defense. Deflected quite a few passes leading to turnovers. Sets good screens and played the pick and roll very well. Has the skill set to drive the lane and will score through contact drawing the foul. Has some high-level post footwork giving her an edge against her defenders. Highly impactful player.

First time catching Moreno. She has a calm look but plays with great intensity. Hustles for the rebounds and has great passing ability. Impressed me with her perimeter shooting off the pass. Relentless on ball defender who forced bad passes. Has a strong motor and finds ways to impact the game. A hustle player who looks to be a solid piece for the Mustangs upcoming season
