Most freshmen don't get to see a Varsity roster. The few that do have proved they can keep up with the best. Sophomore year is perfect for stepping on the gas and setting yourself apart. Here are a few '27s I'm looking forward to watching this season.

White averaged 5 points and 4 rebounds for Brentwood as a Freshman. The Eagles finished a perfect 8-0 in the Gold Coast league. With senior Jocelyn Pascual graduating, it leaves a huge gap for White to fill. White finished in the top 3 for FG% and rebounds. I have no doubt that White will contribute exactly what's needed of her this season for the Eagles.

The Princeton commit averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds last season for Harvard Westlake. This season she joins powerhouse Chaminade. Although Chaminade finished with a 16-11 record last season, the school is no stranger to success. Habis has an opportunity to be a star in her next three seasons with them.

Perryman averaged nearly a double double as a freshman. She played in all 22 of their games. Their 11-1 record earned the Wolves 1st place in the Valley Mission league. Perryman has three seasons to develop her game. Developing off of a 10 point and 9 rebound average should prove she'll be more than able to compete at the next level.

The 5'6 sophomore averaged 10 points last season, playing in all 28 games. Although the team finished 25-6 overall, they managed to take second place in the Pacific league with a 12-2 record. With Burroughs two top scorers returning this season, look for them to make a run in the post season.

Dunlavey averaged 12 points and 3 rebounds for CV this past year. They finished 14-0 in the Pacific League and 23-7 overall. They lose leading scorer Kylie Ray going into the 24-25 season leaving room for Dunlavey to become a key player in the teams' success.
