This list consists of players from the class of 2020 who earned KBCA 5A All-State 1st, 2nd or Honorable Mention last season. These Seniors will be looking to build off of their last years success and try to make a bigger splash this season by earning that Player of the Year Award!
<strong>Kade Hackerott, 5'11" F, Goddard High School #9 </strong>in the Kansas Prep Girls Hoops Rankings. She has committed to the University of Central Missouri to play basketball. <strong>Hackerott </strong>fills up the stat sheet every time she steps on the floor, she's a double-double just waiting to happen. <strong>Kade </strong>has some nice range on her shot from behind the arc which helped her to average 15pts and 9 rebs per contest last season.
<strong>Ishante Suttington, 5'9" CG, F.L. Schlagle High School #32 </strong>in the Kansas Prep Girls Hoops Rankings. <strong>Ishante </strong>has some good handles in tight spaces and she sees the floor well. She is capable of locking down opponents at the 1-3 positions and does so on another level. <strong>Suttington </strong>plays with energy and passion every time she steps on the floor. College Coaches should be putting <strong>Ishante </strong>on their radar this year if they haven't already.
<strong>Katie Wagner, 5'11" F, Maize South High School #8</strong> in the Kansas Prep Girls Hoops Rankings. She has committed to Fort Hays State University to play basketball. <strong>Wagner</strong> has a nice all-around game and she mixes up her inside-out game to keep defenders guessing. <strong>Katie </strong>is a good defender and she is a strong finisher with contact in tight spaces around the basket.
<strong>Molly Hartnett, 5'8" G, St. Thomas Aquinas High School #14</strong> in the Kansas Prep Girls Hoops Rankings. She has committed to Northwest Missouri State University to play basketball. <strong>Hartnett</strong> is a good catch-n-shoot shooter from behind the arc. She moves well without the ball as a good shooter should. <strong>Molly</strong> finishes well with either hand and is capable of heating up on the offensive end of the floor.
<strong>Maddie Garretson, 5'10" F,</strong> <strong>Blue Valley Southwest</strong><strong> High School #73</strong> in the Kansas Prep Girls Hoops Rankings. <strong>Garretson</strong> is an athletic rebounder who gets the dirty work done on both ends of the floor in the paint. <strong>Maddie </strong>really knows how to finish around the basket. <strong>Garretson </strong>has the fundamentals of the game down, this helps her game tremendously. Look for <strong>Maddie </strong>to be the anchor for her squad this season.
<strong>Mackenzie Shupe, 5'8" G, Desoto High School #69 </strong>in the Kansas Prep Girls Hoops Rankings. <strong>Shupe </strong>is a very good 3pt shooter and a good passer. She uses her quick hands on the defensive end of the floor to get steals. <strong>Mackenzie</strong> can change the game once she gets locked in on both ends of the floor. <strong>Mackenzie </strong>will be getting some more offers once the season starts.
