Last week, we released the updated rankings for the Class of 2026. With 185 players now either ranked in our Top 75 or a part of our 110-person watch list in 2026, I wanted to take the time to highlight a few girls from each position group. Below is a look at the point guards and the 27 ladies included in this specific group, followed by some analysis on a handful of those prospects.

For about the last 12-15 months, Carley's college interest has been on a continual rise to the point she recently received her first Division-I offer. She has grown, gotten stronger, and she has been a key contributor on both her grassroots and high school teams throughout the Spring & Summer. She has nice length, good ball skill and the ability to create offense, plus she is a consistent shooter from the perimeter. She defends with effort and intelligence, and she uses her length well at that end. She has truly become a complete guard.

When I saw Aniyah throughout the Spring & Summer on the travel circuit, I was intrigued. She is quick/fast, feisty, but she is a playmaker, no matter which end of the floor she's on. However, after seeing her at PGH Indiana's "The Expo", she should be a priority for the successful small colleges in the Midwest. She plays with a great motor, she defends well, sees the floor and finds open teammates, plus she can knock down open shots. She is smaller, but she understands how to play at her size, and she doesn't attempt things she can't complete.

I can remember Maci as far back as to when she was between 8th and 9th grade. She has always been a nice basketball player, she plays with effort, an understanding of the game, plus she has worked hard to build her skillset. She's another smaller guard, but she outplays her size because she has figured out how to be consistently productive. She has gotten stronger, she possesses nice length, and she can create opportunities for teammates or knock down open rhythm jumpers. She is primed for a nice season in French Lick.

Players like Alexis are what make programs like Warsaw difficult to play against. She is surrounded by two players committed to Division-I schools, and a third with several offers at that level. So, Alexis oftentimes finds herself in positions to score. She plays with one of the best motors in the class, she is a nice all-around athlete, especially North/South, and she has a quiet toughness to her. She will make hustle plays, she'll rebound & defend, but she also has good ball skill, can play a traditional PG role, and she can make open shots outside.

I believe I first saw Reagin between her 7th and 8th grade years, and she has always played with a poise and confidence in her game. She is very feisty, handles the ball well, and you aren't going to get in her face and intimidate her. She sees the floor, can get her team into the correct offense, plus she is a capable shooter when set and in rhythm. I also really like how she gets after it defensively; she will rebound a little at her size, and she sort of sets the tone for her teams. Look for her and Northview to have a strong 2024-2025 season.
