Mason was caught by both Marissa and Nicole during the event in the 3 on 3 competition see evaluations here but let me go back to 2022, when I first saw her see evaluation here so watching her mid to long-range continue to get better was nice, as well as her court vision. She’s on the verge of joining that “making those around her better” group because she ‘s heady, stays under control, and is vocal, but her “on the ball” pressure also needs to be mentioned

Mason sets the tone the second she touches the court. She attacks the rim with an aggressive downhill mindset and finishes strong through contact. She combines the inside game with a reliable mid-range pull-up that keeps defenders honest. Defensively, she plays with aggression—blocking shots from the guard position and outworking people to track down loose balls—pure toughness and execution without the extra fluff.

It’s refreshing to see players at a showcase play team ball and not hold onto the ball too much. While Mason can score effortless, it was restorative to see her emphasize making her teammates better.

Mason shows great body control, utilizing jump stops and shot fakes effectively before making accurate bounce passes to open teammates for easy buckets. She plays with a nose over ball defensive stance and has a quick first step. Did a nice job communicating with our team, particularly on the defensive end, and showed a willingness to make winning plays.

Mason is a crafty combo guard who can slice and dice her way through the defense to finish around the rim or find open cutters then dropping dimes. I loved her quick first step, ability to survey the floor, and make the right plays. She has a high IQ on both ends of the floor and I expect her stock to surge nationally as one of the premier combo guards in her class. College coaches should start getting involved as I expect her to be a popular commodity as she has tremendous potential and upside.

Mason was last seen live at “Queen Of The South” last July see evaluations here, so I’ve had a chance to catch clips and observe her growth both on and off the court as she continues to elevate her game, so her ceiling is still high, and it’s not telling where she’ll land on the list

Mason jumps from the Watch List to WATCH OUT for what’s coming, and over the years, I already knew she was going to be a problem to defend see evaluations here, but here’s the real deal: she has the tools to keep rising up the charts, her midrange looked like her“go 2” over the club season, yet she can drop the 3 and even nailed the 4 for me before showing her concentration after contact

Mason gave me a glimpse of what was coming 4 years ago see evaluation here and my exact words were “I don’t know how good she’s going to be but I’m betting on really good” and being a REAL EVALUATOR , I sort of know things see evaluations here I lost track of her for a couple of years but after catching back up, her “on the court” progression has her on track to be “in the mix” see evaluations here

Mason has gotten stronger and had some growth, both on and off the court, and her powerful finishes and solid body control after contact spoke volumes. She attacks the basket strongly, yet her court vision off the dribble was nice, but she also saw the floor in the set. Her “catch and shoot” from deep was plus, as was her playing the passing lane

Mason caught my eye at my All Eyez On Me Individual Showcase 3 years ago and my exact words were “I don’t how good she’s going to be, I’m betting good, really good” and when you’re a REAL EVALUATOR it doesn’t take you long. What continues to stand out is her work ethic and ability to “think the game strategically” but her deceptive first step allows her to attack and score. She also not only creates her shot, but she creates spacing to drop it from mid to long-range. Her “on the ball” pressure looked good, so did her court vision
