The class of 2025 is loaded with players looking to make a splashing as they head into their senior year. Expect these players to have a big season and catch the eyes of college scouts.

The 5'9 combo guard has had quite the high school career, to say the least. As a freshman at Price High School, Fort averaged 22.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 6.4 steals per game while leading the Knights to a 16-3 record. After transferring to Hamilton High School, Fort led the Yankees to a 25-7 record while averaging 16.7 points, 1.4 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game. Fort has maintained impressive stats while playing in a new system with tougher competition. Fort is a very efficient scorer, shooting 49% from the field, and doesn't need much to score. She is a very good catch-and-shoot player and moves well without the ball. When she does have the ball in her hands, she does a great job of attacking the rim and kicking it out to teammates when the paint collapses.

Soil was a scoring machine during the 2024 season, averaging 21.9 points per game — placing her in the top 50 for scoring in California. She helped lead the Antelopes to a 17-7 record. While she got off to a slow start to the season, Soil was unstoppable in January and February. During the last nine games of the season, Soil averaged 32.2 points per game and eclipsed the 30-point mark in all but two of those games. As a result of Soil's increased scoring production, the Antelopes ended the season on a seven-game winning streak. If Soil can replicate the scoring numbers she posted in the latter half of last season, expect her to catch the attention of college scouts and climb in the rankings.

Curl is the second Hamilton player to find her way on this list. The 5'10 point guard had an impressive junior year, averaging 14.6 points, 2.7 assists, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game. At 5'10 with great hands and quickness, Curl was a defensive nightmare for opposing guards. Curl does a great job of anticipating passes and uses her length to get out in passing lanes to make steals and disrupt passes. The guard does a great job of generating defense into offense and is always looking to push the ball up the floor to get easy buckets off a turnover. When in transition, Curl does a great job of attacking the rim and getting easy layups or drawing the foul. Curl got to the line an impressive 104 times last season and shot a solid 71%.

Griffin filled the stat sheet last season, averaging 18.0 points per game, 4.1 assists per game, 5.3 rebounds per game, and 4.5 steals per game. Griffin has shown huge growth over her first three seasons, boosting her scoring from 3.5 points per game as a freshman to 12.6 as a sophomore, and then to 18.0 last season. Her steady improvement is a testament to her work ethic, and if she continues on this trajectory, an even bigger scoring output can be expected this season. One area where Griffin may aim to improve is her playmaking. While her 4.1 assists per game are still impressive, it's a slight drop from the 5.6 she averaged as a sophomore. If she can maintain her high-scoring output while enhancing her playmaking, she'll be well-positioned for an even more successful season.

Despite being a bit undersized at 5'9, Word was a force to be reckoned with in the paint last season. She averaged a double-double for the season, posting 12.0 points per game and 11.7 rebounds per game. Word is an exceptional offensive rebounder, averaging 4.5 per game, with 39% of her total rebounds coming on the offensive end. The part of Word's game that stands out the most is the impact she has on the defensive end, where she averaged an impressive 2.6 steals per game and 2.6 blocks per game.

Mejia put together a solid junior season, averaging 12.2 points, 1.1 assists, 8.1 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game. Mejia has a well-rounded offensive skill set. She excels in transition, is a dependable shooter when she has time to set her feet, and has a reliable post-up game that lets her leverage her strength to overpower smaller defenders or draw fouls and get to the free-throw line. Arleta often initiates their offense by feeding Mejia at either elbow and from there she has a reliable mid-range game and good enough footwork to make a move to get to the rim. When operating from the high post, she demonstrates strong court awareness, often finding teammates cutting to the basketball or spotting up in the corner.

Moon is coming off an impressive first season with the Buena Bulldogs after spending the previous two seasons at Pacifica High School. While Moon's scoring productivity took a bit of a dip, her playmaking skills were on full display against tougher competition. En route to finishing 22-6, the point guard averaged 12.8 points, 7.2 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.6 steals per game. The 7.2 assists per game ranked #3 in California and was a huge leap from the 2.9 she averaged the season prior. Moon thrives with the ball in her hands. In addition to being a great playmaker, she is also a very solid shot-creator. She navigates high ball screens very effectively, knowing when to pull up for a three when her defender sags off and when to blow by her defender when they are attached to her tightly.

The class of 2025 is loaded with players looking to make a splashing as they head into their senior year. Expect these players to have a big season and catch the eyes of college scouts.
