With both Bryant and AR Legacy, Dailey has been tasked with being a primary ball handler, which she has taken in stride. She has a solid handle and keeps her eyes up at all times. If a lane opens up, she is driving to the basket, but don’t forget, she can step back and drain a three in someone’s face.

On the other end, Dailey has proven to be a solid defender. She is very quick in her lateral movements, and she plays with good anticipation, taking advantage of loose balls and sloppy handles.

Most of her solid play came in the second quarter and the second half. Though she had just 6 points through those three quarters, she found other ways to stuff the stat sheet, by grabbing 3 boards, coming away with 3 assists, and recording 3 steals.

Dailey’s vision was on full display, as she was finding cutters and hitting open shooters. She was also ramping up the pressure defensively in the second half, forcing turnovers and starting the break.

I watched Keila Dailey Keila Dailey SG/PG Bryant | 2028 State AR three times last season, once in a live stream of Bryant’s matchup with Nettleton, and twice in person against Little Rock Central. She had different performances in every game, but I was still impressed each time.

Against Nettleton, Dailey got going from beyond the arc, solidifying herself as one of the best 3-point shooters in the 2028 class. However, in both matchups against Central, she struggled to find open looks from outside. Most freshmen would have folded, and their night would have practically been over, but not Dailey.

Dailey showed tremendous maturity when tasked with leading Bryant in those tough games against the Lady Tigers. She had no problem leading the point, making accurate passes, and finding all sorts of ways to get her teammates involved. She was also finding ways to get to the basket, where she showed poise and toughness against a physical defense.

Like I said, each matchup was a little different for Keila Dailey Keila Dailey SG/PG Bryant | 2028 State AR . But one thing was certain: she was one of the most impactful players every time she stepped out onto the floor.

The lefty guard is a fantastic 3-point shooter, using great shot elevation and a quick release. Dailey is great off the catch, especially in the corners. When she has a good look from beyond, do everything in your power to go and contest. Even if the defense comes with a good closeout, she can simply take a dribble inside the arch and hit a mid-range jumper instead. Of course, Dailey is more than a shooter.

Even as a freshman, Dailey is not easily rattled in difficult situations. She handles pressure well, often taking over at the point late in games. She can calm the offense down, either facilitating or figuring out the best shot she can take. Dailey is also a solid defender.

Dailey only scored 4 points, but she pulled down 4 rebounds (all offensive boards), and blocked 1 shot. The freshman also helped move the ball around, but with Bryant’s shooting inconsistencies, she was not able to rack up any assists.

Dailey also played outstanding defense. She is one of the shorter players on this Bryant team, but she did block one of Gaston’s shots in the paint, which seemed like a sure-fire make for the senior. This freshman is athletic and physical, especially on that end of the floor.

Keila Dailey Keila Dailey SG/PG Bryant | 2028 State AR has nerves of steel. She does not hunker down in the clutch, and I thought that she took control at the end. Dailey drove hard to the paint, scoring an and-one while demanding respect from outside.

Keila Dailey Keila Dailey SG/PG Bryant | 2028 State AR is one of the best shooters in the 6A classification, and she is only a freshman! Dailey is one of the several freshmen that Bryant is having to call upon this season, and her great offensive play has helped them log a 9-5 record.

As soon as Dailey catches the ball, there is a good chance a shot is going up immediately, and an even better chance that the shot will rip through the net. The lefty has a very quick release and she is tough to stop when she has it going. As long as the Lady Hornets keep getting Dailey open and in-rhythm shots, she will be shooting close to 50% from beyond on the season.

Some shooters are poor defenders, but not Dailey. Dailey plays solid on-ball defense and shuffles her feet well, keeping her woman in front of her. If she gets the chance to grab a steal, she can, and she will.

Keila Dailey Keila Dailey SG/PG Bryant | 2028 State AR is a fantastic sharpshooter. She could hold this same #13 position simply because of her shooting, but she is valuable to this Bryant team, even this early in her high school career.
