Shakiah Brown Shakiah Brown 5'2" | PG/SG Dumas | 2028 State AR has only played Junior High basketball with Dumas, but I think her abilities will translate immediately to varsity after destroying defenses last season.

Brown had some impressive performances during her 9th-grade season, including a game in November where she put up 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals. She had a separate performance in December where the defense saw her log 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals.

Brown is a scrappy player who feasts in transition. She is often guarding her assignment for the entire length of the floor, and she will pounce on a loose ball at a moment’s notice. Once she has it, she does not hesitate to sprint to the other end and score.

I would imagine that Shakiah Brown Shakiah Brown 5'2" | PG/SG Dumas | 2028 State AR logs a lot of minutes on Dumas’ varsity squad this coming year because the talent, effort, and skill level are all there.
