About Delaney

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

People say I have a nice handle with great vision and feel for the game. I play with my eyes up looking to get easy buckets for my teammates and myself depending on what the defense is doing. I use skill and athleticism to create advantages on both ends of the floor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I play hard and with heart. I take advantage of defensive weaknesses each time down the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Gymnastics, track, piano

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I play to win and do so with sportsmanship. I lead my team vocally and by my actions on the floor and off the floor. I respect my teammates and other players, coaches, officials, etc. If a player on either team is knocked down I will be there to pick them up.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I broke a finger on my right hand in December of 2023. I continued to play with a splint and developed a very strong left hand handle.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college where I can compete and grow to my full potential.
