Emily McCutcheon had a remarkable freshman season with the Cedarville Lady, earning all-conference and all-state. I fully expect her to repeat her efforts in 2025-26.
After averaging 14.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.5 steals per game last season, McCutcheon lit up the AAU scene with Shock Hoops. During the Power 24 Finals, McCutcheon averaged 12 points and 4 rebounds per game, which was not long after putting up 8 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals a contest during the Run 4 Roses and Select Events tournaments.
She is a great scorer, able to create her shot from the outside and nail big time buckets, especially with the defense draped all over her. She has a quick first step, able to get by defenders and get into the paint to finish. She is also a great defender, making a living by intercepting passes and stripping ball-handlers.
Emily McCutcheon should have a great sophomore season, and the 3A-4 should be very afraid of what she does to them on the court.
