She gets downhill in a hurry and she knows what to do once she is in the teeth of the defense. She is someone that doesn’t need any screening action or anything like that. Her first step quickness is noteworthy and she really knows how to finish in a plethora of different ways once she gets near the bucket. There are things that standout in Hornung’s play-style. If she continues to work, she has the size and drive to make some things happen if she got a shot at the next level.

Lakeview may of fallen short in their last contest to finish of their season but they showed positives in all facets of the game. Hornung is a deadly three point shooter with a high IQ. Not only is Hornung someone that can produce on the ball, she produces it off the ball just as much, which is an important factor to note. 95% of the game of basketball is played off of the ball or without it in your possession. To be able to produce in small amounts of time and in quick moments, can make the difference in a win or a loss. This group had a hard task against a very skilled and very deep Bennington program but that shouldn’t change the fact that Hornung would be someone to note moving into this Spring/Summer AAU season.
