Who can guard [player_tooltip player_id='414394' first='Alivia' last='Mauz']? That seems to be the question no opposing defense has an answer to. She is the exact definition of an “X-Factor.” It was a very challenging (to say the least) task to guard Mauz for Shawnee as the Renegades fell to Williamstown, 42-39, behind the senior's staggering 34 points. She ran the offense nearly alone on Friday, shooting from all angles. She hit six three-pointers, including the game-winning basket on the Braves' final offensive possession. See her postgame reaction and some highlights below.

Zarnawski got the action started fast as she scored the first five points of the game en route to an 18-point performance for the Pirates in a 56-36 victory over Clearview. She showed extreme confidence handing the ball as the career-high point total for the senior totaled more than she recorded in the Pirates' previous four games combined this season. She went 4/6 from the free-throw line and showed a great ability to drive and make shots. After trailing the Pioneers by three points after the first quarter, Cinnaminson ripped off a 22-9 run in the second quarter and didn't look back. Zarnawski was responsible for six points during that scoring run. As the season progresses, look for her to continue to thrive and take on a bigger role in this offense.

She was consistent throughout the entirety of the game en route to a 51-43 victory over Cherokee. She hit five three-pointers, three coming in the first half. As accurate as they come, she went perfect from the free-throw line, hitting all four of her attempts. Her step-back three-pointer is a beauty and helps make this powerful Quakers offense much more dangerous. Intenzo continues to prove that she's one of the top shooting guards in the state, tallying 72 points through four games this winter.

Pow Pow! After being held in check most of the game except for a first-quarter three, Powell went off for 11 points in the fourth quarter to edge Middle Township to a 48-43 victory over Cherry Hill West. She took over the game with her driving layups and looked like a whole new player in the final eight minutes. The defending South Jersey Group 2 champions are now undefeated through four games and will face another tough challenge on Saturday against Cherokee.

Takla complements Intenzo perfectly as a sharpshooter for Moorestown. She finished as the second-leading scorer in the win over Cherokee with 14 points, with four shots connecting from beyond the arc. She's also shown to be an efficient rebounder, showing no fear when going up to the basket. The senior is averaging just below 12 points per game so far this winter, making opposing defenses have to figure out a game plan for both her and Intenzo, both huge X-Factors.
