Big Six Gold
Blue Springs (13-12,6-4), Blue Springs South (15-12, 6-4), Lee’s Summit North (5-20, 2-8), Lee’s Summit West (20-7, 10-0), Park Hill (14-12, 6-4), Raymore-Peculiar (6-20, 0-10).
Saneea Bevley, 5’6, SG, 2022, Blue Springs South
Bevly has a great feel for the perimeter and is dangerous as a scorer and facilitator. She has a great rhythm to her game and has a good bounce and ability to shake off opponents and create opportunities. Bevley can also create with her dribble and is a strong defensive player in full-court situations.
Ja’Cole Johnson, 5’4, G, 2022, Blue Springs
Another young guard for Blue Springs who looks to contribute wherever she can. Johnson has good speed and can handle the ball and can connect from distance from the top of the key in the wing spot. She shows a lot of promise as a catch-and-shoot scorer and is highly active on the defensive end and has good footwork and athleticism needed to come away with the ball on the defensive side of the floor.
Tasia Johnson, 5’5, 2022, Lee’s Summit West
A nice young player for Lee’s Summit West, Johnson emerged last season showing speed a well-rounded skill-set and the ability to score. She has good handles for her age and shows a lot of potential with the ball in her hands. Johnson averaged 6.7 points, 2 rebounds and nearly two steals a game last season.
Preslee Noirfalie, 5’9, G, 2022, Raymore-Peculiar
Noirfalie is a strong young guard who can come away with the ball and finish on the opposite end. She has an eye for openings, is a good passer and can create some with her dribble and operate as a slasher and off ball scorer. She shows good movement and has strong hands and can get a hand on the ball and create some problems on the defensive side.
Kennedy Townsend, 5’9, G, 2022, Park Hill
An elite young guard for Park Hill who earned first-team all-conference and first-team all-district honors as a freshman. She has solid playmaking skills with the ball and shows a creative nature and a high ceiling and basketball IQ. She looks to compete on both ends of the floor and can rip the ball away from opponents and finish through contact on the opposite end. Also a strong shooter who can connect from several feet behind the 3-point line as well as the mid-range area.
