Lead by head coach Jared Broughton, the Lady Titans have a ton of talent headed into the 2019 – 2020 season.
Returning Impact Players
Charli Ritchey Sr. 5’8 Guard – Signed to play at Johnson County Community College
Charli is a tremendous athlete. She is a gifted shooter who can stretch the defense. She has grown her game during the off-season to become more of an all-around player. Charli is an exceptional leader and is expected to have a big season on both Offense and Defense.
Marissa Ritchey Sr. 5’8 Guard – Signed to play at Johnson County Community College
Marissa is an excellent shooter. A tremendous athlete, she is sneaky quick and uses this to attack and finish at the rim. She is a lefty who is very crafty in her ability to breakdown defenses. Marissa will be a big part of both the Offense and Defense this season.
Tasia Johnson So. 5’7 Guard – Offers from Wichita St. and Furman. Along with D1 interest from various schools. Plays AAU ball with KC Lady Run GMC
Tasia is a smart and skilled basketball player. She is an all-around player with elite level scoring ability. Tasia has tremendous court vision on the offensive end. She will be relied on to contribute on the boards and guard tough the opposing teams’ best player.
Morgan Pietig Jr. 5’9 Guard
Morgan is a highly skilled passer with excellent vision and can shoot it well. She has a great basketball IQ. Morgan will be looked upon to compete on the glass for the team and guard the opponents better players each game.
Aubrey Parson Sr. 5’6 Guard – Signed to run Track and Cross-Country at Wichita St.
Aubrey is another tremendous athlete who can wear opponents down with her tenacity. She has improved her overall skill level offensively and will be a solid contributor for the team this season.
“This group are hard workers who do a great job of supporting each other. They have really bought into the system and style we want to play this year. I think we’re going to be fun to watch and play with pace. We are going to play a positionless style of basketball that the girls have taken to. Up and Coming Players to Watch
Brooke Ellis Jr. 5’8 Guard/Forward – Plays AAU ball with Precision Athletics
Brooke is a hard worker who continues to improve and grow her game. She offers us a threat in the post and she is ready to have a breakout season.
Jaiden Wilmes Jr. 5’7 Guard
Jaiden is another hard worker and an all-around solid player. She will be a contributor to the teams’ success. Jaiden will have to be a jack of all trades for the team.
Brooke Starr Fr. 5’4 Guard – Plays AAU ball with Missouri Phenom
Brooke is a smart guard who can really shoot it. She will be a contributor on Varsity throughout the season, as she continues to grow her game.
Bailey Burns Fr. 5’9 Guard – Plays AAU ball with Missouri Phenom
Bailey is a tremendous athlete. She continues to get better every day in practice and will likely be a solid contributor to the team.
Aaliyah Chamber Sr. 5’7 Guard – Signed to play at State Fair Community College
Aaliyah is a solid player. She is a slasher that can break down the defense and make plays for herself and the team.
“I have high expectations for our program every year and this year is no different. I expect us to play a fast and attacking style of basketball. We want to push the tempo and make our opponents play at an uncomfortable pace. I expect our girls to show up and bring great effort every night. It will be important for us to trust the process as we continue to implement a new system throughout the season. The Lady Titans will be a team to keep an eye on when the regular season kicks off next week. Every time has championship aspirations but not every time has the players to get it done. we can expect to hear from the Lady Titans this season. As they prepare to make a run at the Missouri Class 5 State Championship.
