Caddo County Tournament Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With over 8 decades in the books, the Caddo County Tournament is one of the most well renowned tournaments in western Oklahoma. Played in the Anadarko Fieldhouse, every game has an Area Tournament type atmosphere. I saw a poster on a Prep Forum say they thought the girls side of the bracket was down a bit this year, and I don't agree. With Class A #3 Cyril topping Class B #3 Lookeba-Sickles in the finals, two very nice teams in Hinton and perennial power Fort Cobb-Broxton in the third place game, and Class B #11 Mountain View-Gotebo playing in the consolation bracket. Hinton and Mountain View met in a tournament FINAL earlier in the year, and were the opening round matchup between #4 and #5 Seeds at Caddo County. Rowyn was MVP of the tournament her sophomore season at MVG. Now playing for rival Lookeba-Sickles. 21 points in the final, 16 in the second round, and 22 in her first round game. Rowyn is a handful on their press, and even better on offense. This season she steps into the go-to role and is really excelling. Hag guard skills for her big frame, can step out and take care of the ball in high pressure situations. Really nice looking jumper from the elbow. Has a great high-low game with Paisley Eastwood. Josey had 22 in the first round barn burner with Hinton. Lightning quick, dangerous in the open floor, changes direction quick, and can heat up from behind the arc. All-Tournament team selection. Outscored FCB by 11 in the fourth quarter of the 3rd place game, and Potter was a big part of it. 3 for 4 from behind the arc in the game. hit 3 from downtown against MVG as well. I always tell my team when we play them what a unique athlete Eastwood is. One of the stronger players that we play, while also one of the quicker post types that you will see. Very solid low post game and high basketball IQ.
