The way she plays defense creates angles for her to steal the ball and take it coast to coast. She is also very involved with her offense by putting the ball where it's supposed to be. Her playmaking is displayed best in transition after turnover when she hits her teammates cutting to the basket accurately. She does a good job of poking the ball loose and swiping the ball out without fouling. Her athletic ability allows her to intercept passes in the passing lane. She's also an excellent shot blocker with good contest IQ. She has great vision, after watching her play I acknowledged that she finds her open teammate consistently. She has good strength that allows her to make long passes down the court and she is very fundamental with her passes. Her passes are often smart and safe passes. She thrives in wearing opponents down and forcing turnovers. Her hustle is what separates her from other defenders in 4A. If there is a loose ball, Lillian is going to chase it, if the ball is in the air, she's jumping for it and if the ball is on the floor, she's diving on it. Her defense is what opens up her play-making ability. Zae is able to make plays for team by drawing the defense's attention her, allowing her teammates to get open looks. On the defensive end she is very strong and fearless. She disrupts plays with her physicality and is able to score efficiently off forced turnovers.
