Here ability to elevate, track the ball, and block the shots without fouling was impressive. Smith finished the game with 8 blocks and every block shifted momentum in her team’s favor. Her team erased a double digit deficit behind Smith’s incredible performance and even briefly took the lead. In addition to taking shots out the air, the junior forward also scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Two more blocked shots and Smith finishes with a triple double. Even with her team coming up on the short end in a game that was physical and low scoring, Smith was the best overall talent on the floor, and that’s saying a lot considering the high level of athleticism on the floor.
