March is here, which means it's time for the latest quarterly rankings update. With regard to the Class of 2025, this is the final time they will be updated, as they will move to the archives over the Summer. Below is a look at the top Small Forwards in the state, with a handful of standouts and newcomers highlighted below that.

[player_tooltip player_id='1218585' first='Delaynee' last='Coomes'], 2025, 5-11 SF, South Knox H.S. - Delaynee is an absolute "microwave" type of player, as she came off the bench for the Spartans and got hot quickly. She has really nice length, a fluid athleticism to her game, but she is known as an accurate, quick-release 3-point shooter. She has a bit of an odd release, but she can get incredibly hot from the perimeter in a hurry. She does a nice job of using her length defensively, as well, and she has the height to be an effective rebounder.

[player_tooltip player_id='496016' first='Emma' last='Norton'], 2025, 5-10 SF, South Bend Riley H.S. - Emma ended up having a really nice Winter for the Riley Wildcats, and she kind of flew under the radar amongst colleges. She is reportedly taking the Junior College route, so hopefully she'll be able to draw additional attention these next two years. She is extremely long, fluid, and versatile. She can handle it a little like a point forward, slice to the rim off the bounce, and knock down the occasional perimeter jumper when set and in rhythm.

[player_tooltip player_id='626932' first='Bren' last='Hill'], 2025, 6-0 SF/PF, South Knox H.S. - Bren is another South Knox Spartan who has been a regular contributor over her years in the program, but as a Senior, she was absolutely outstanding. She has a long, tall frame, wiry strength, and the ability to play at all three levels. She can use her height & length at the basket, both offensively and defensively. She is talented in the mid-post, where she can knock down the mid-range shot or get to the hoop in a hurry. She's also a capable 3-point shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='828072' first='Kyra' last='Parker'], 2025, 5-9 SF, Fort Wayne Snider H.S. - Snider graduated a talented 2024 group, and while I thought the 2025 class could offer solid play to the Panthers this Winter, Kyra took advantage of her opportunity and really stood out. She is a nice athlete with some length and wiry strength, but she works hard, is a willing defender, and she has made herself an accurate and dangerous perimeter shooter. As the season wore on, she gained more and more confidence and really stepped up.
